Jungkook didn't want it show but he soooooooooooooo wanted to listen to Meera and Namjoon talking . He hesitated at first , but then seeing that nobody was really paying attention , he casually put his hands on Joon's shoulder and peeked from behind him , a classic "namkook' thing which was so natural to him and he knew no one would question. And true to his habit Namjoon didn't flinch , just acknowledging the little guy with a smile but Meera, her eyes met Jungkook's and she felt her heart beating louder for a second. She saw that Namjoon noticed an and that was even more embarrassing she tried to play it cool but Namjoon wasn't that dense , he saw how she blushed, and heat off Jungkook's face was reaching straight to his neck.

Damn

He remarked inside his head.

"soo O  re Piya literally means "o beloved or my lover . ." she started explaining, her eyes darting to the guy behind Namjoon, skin heating up while the said boy was smiling , as if teasing her.

"and the whole setup is like , there's a foreigner , like someone from west who falls in love with and Indian girl and then this song plays ,most of the lyrics relating to the same,,,,,but the reason why  I wanted you to listen to it because,, the music really , the melody and of course yeah lyrics too but mostly how it all blends together to create this magical atmosphere its just soo---- OOp sorry , ,I'll let you listen to it first. . ." Namjoon smiled , really getting excited about it. Meera let him get aside and listen to it but Jungkook stayed, she rolled her eyes and begun to walk away.

"I'll cover it!" Jungkook made sure only she heard it.

"what??" she turned around , playing calm but heart leaping at just imagining what he just said.

"yeahh I can,,"

"I know u can but first of all , its in Hindi, and second ,, why? I mean you don't have to? isn't it extra work?" she tried to be as polite as possible but she was kinda mad how he had teased her in front of Kim Namjoon , like so embarrassing.

Jungkook was amused. She was being passive aggressive, he just wanted to pull her closer and kiss. he stood there, looking at her , smile playing on his lips , hands folded across his chest.

Meera felt that.

just why is he looking at me like that?

It was hot. She couldn't  deny.

"isn't it ?" She asked again, trying not to seem weak.

"is it?" he titled his head upwards , not breaking eye contact , smiling like he was having too much fun.

THAT was too much for her and she had to turn around . But Jungkook really said fuck it and held her hand . The girl was too stunned to speak",,Jungkoook???? she whisper yelled , literally everyone is here  I swear to god if someone sees us... . " she forgot who he was , to her  then , he was just a guy who she liked and he was teasing her , in front of everyone .

"they can't even see it from this angle.. . , " wouldn't look away and it made her extremely weak.

"okayy fine ,, cover it ,, i'd be blessed to hear it .. " she mumbled the last part, looking at the tangled fingers .

"wait???? what did you- did u just???" and then he smiled ,like a baby. It was contagious so she did too , turning red and warm.

"are u going to let me go? orr what? " after a brief moment she was back at being mad.

" I don't plan on but will do if u say yes" Now he was a bit shy , she loved it, his thumb rubbing the back of her palm.

"yes to what ?" She asked, innocently

Jungkook looked up , eyes wide.

"this uumm- between us-- I mean.. " he couldn't say much , all his confidence disappearing just like that.

Meera  broke into giggles ,, "hhhhh I'll think about it, ,, Maybe after hearing your cover?" She squeezed his hand and joined the charades bunch , leaving the guy standing with the sweetest smile adorning his face.

I know you guys are thinking about the reason for the chapters being short . I m really sorry , I m honestly short of time and even this 700 word chapter took me long. I m really busy with my final semester so I hope you guys will understand.
