Chapter 4

I am walking home with Zane listening to my music. I found out that he lives on the same street as me. I was a bit confused when he walked the other way before we went for a swim to get changed into his swimming trunks. I asked him and replied saying that he was there before with his friends and brought an extra just in case they wanted to go for another swim, but they had other "Important" things to do.... I wonder what. Holiday homework? Never seen a guy do school work in the summer holidays. Its-Its rare. We didn't really talk the whole way except when he wanted to change the song and would say: your songs are so depressing. I would just roll my eyes and change the song. I was about to change the song when my phone rang. I checked to see who it was. Jade. I picked it up and forgot that Zane had my other ear plug.

"Hey girlfriend. Watcha doin? I was planning to go to a party tonight cause I really need to get laid" My eyes went wide as I know that Zane heard that. I turned to face him and saw that he had a smirk on his face. OH NO. what is going in that mind of his. "Babe who is it that you are talking to over there?." I can't breathe. Did- did he just say that? The last thing I want is for Jade to think I am having "cuddle time" with a person that I KNOW for .........a DAY. "Oh my god Adelaide" Before that bastard said anything Idiotic again, I cut the call. I pushed him to side as he was laughing his head off. "What the Fuck!!!" He kept laughing and told me to give him a minute. I crossed my arm in front and taped my foot. After a couple of minutes he Finally stopped laughing. "You don-?" Before I could finish my question, he had another fit of laugh. I had enough so I started pace walking. "Ok, Ok, I'm sorry." "I didn't mean to do that.". He said as he ran up to my side. I didn't want to deal with him so I just rolled my eyes.

I don't get why she has this long voice message. Ya it's funny, but hearing it over and over again is kind irritating. It's like listening to a song played all day without a brake. I told her to change it, but you know what they say: It goes through one ear and comes out of the other. "Well, this is my stop." Zane said as he was.........Waitwaitwaitwaitwaitwait. Are my eyes seeing things or is that what I think it is. Zane Davis Leaves next to ME. oh no no no no no no. "Hey, is everything alright?" He asked as he must of noticed my expression change. I looked at his house than mine. "I-Is that your house?" I asked as I pointed to his house. "Yes just moved in today morning, used to leave 15 minutes away from Blackcombe High." My mind's not processing very well. He goes to my school, Leaves next to me and he is a Pain is the Ass. No wonder he looked so familiar when I bumped him in the morning. "Why did you ask?"

"Because you are going to be leaving right next to me." I said slightly pointing to my house with my pointy finger.

"Oh" was all he said. It was getting awkward by the minutes. "It was fun hanging out with you today." I said looking down at my shoes. I could feel his eyes on me, but did not dare to look up. "Um ya It was. We could hang out again sometime later next week." I looked up to see that he was still looking at me with hope in his eyes. He wanted to hang out with me. I gave him a smile and said yes. He slowly returned to smile back showing his dimple. "See ya." I said as I walked to my house. He waved at me and went inside. I unlocked to door with a smile on my face, but slowly started to dawn as I remembered that i had to clear "things" with Jade. I was about to call her when someone started knocking at the door abruptly. I placed my phone down and went to see who it was. Surprise, Surprise it was the one and only Jade. "Young lady you have some explaining to do." She said as she came in side with her hands on her hips. She sat down on the bar stool and told me to tell everything and so I started "Story telling time with Adelaide".

"OMG. No wonder I was so confused when I saw this jumper you are wearing when you opened the door. So he gave it to you." Jade said wiggling her eyebrows.

"I wouldn't say gave. I had to kind of tell him to give it to me." Jade gave me the "o" face telling me that she understood what I was saying. "So any guys in your life." I asked as we were in the living room on the floor lying on our backs. "Ya did meet this one guy today in the cafe. But he was a total "A" hole. He was good looking but had lots of attitude."

"Was he the one who had attitude or you?" I asked both knowing that it was going to be her. She just bumped her hips with mine. "Ow." She was about to say something when someone came bursting through the front door. "I'M BAUK BABY!!!" I rolled my eyes as I hit my head ever so slightly on the floor when I found out who it was. He came to us sing a song WAY off tune.

dog goes "woof"

Cat goes "meow"

Bird goes "tweet"

And mouse goes "squeek"

And when he got to the lyrics Me and Jade had already joined in.

But there's one sound

After we finished singing the song I went and gave my brother a hug. "It's so good to see you Benjamin." I said as I tighten my grip around his torso. "I was only out for like 30 minutes but Ok." he said as he hugged me back. "Ok get off my now" Ben said as he shoved me by my shoulders and went up to his room. "Love you too." I shout back. I turned and faced Jade I was going to ask if she wanted to eat something when someone cut in. "Just so you know few of my friends are coming over. Two of them just moved in today soo........ Can you make something for us to eat?"

"There is no such thing as free dinner." I said placing my hands on my hips. "Pleeease?" he said putting his hands together. I narrowed my eyes at him. "I will make your bed for a week." I wasn't satisfied and kept staring daggers into his eyes. "Fine I will make your bed for a week and wash the dis-"

"Deal!!!!" I said as I took one of his hands in mine and shook his hand before I power walked into the kitchen with Jade following behind me.

I wonder who the newbie's are. I hope they are hot.
