Adelaide's POV

"1.............,2..............,3.............,4....." God I am so tired. I have been working out with Jade for the past 2 hours. Well I am the one doing all the exercise. Jade had "suggested" that we should workout for a bit before we do anything else for the whole day. It's stupid if you ask me, but that is one of her many excuses to go to the beach just so that she can stalk and drool over "hotties with their swimming trunks". That's how she likes to say it, not me. After breakfast Ben had gone on his date and had told me that he was going to be home late at night. I wasn't surprised as it was his 5th this week. My brother had the "BAD BOY" label written all over him, including his friends. I have gotten used to him dating almost more than half the girls in our school. I do have to deal with those sluts who come crying to me, telling me that he doesn't like her and that he just slept with her for pleasure. I just tell them to suck it up and that it's none of my business.

God, just waiting for the day for Ben to say that he has found The one. Who know I might even be dead by then. Zane left as well saying that he had to go somewhere important, taking Ryder with him saying that he needed him with something and left without even letting us say anything. "Hey" I was interrupted by this a very husky voice. I turned around to see a HOT guy standing beside be with his hands in his pockets. "Can I help you?" I said with a hint of irritation. "I am sorry, but I just came to tell you that the squats that you were doing right now could give you severe and permanent knee damage, plus the way that you were doing those burpees could have damaged your back too."

"Is there anything else that you want to tell me coach?" I said placing the dumbbells down and faced him with my hands on my hips. He had the audacity to smirk as he said, "I am sorry, but at least can I show some proper techniques or exercises" he paused "I-If you don't mind?"

"No I am happy for you to show me new moves, Coach." I said with a fake sloppy smile, but I doubt that he is interested in me. He moved behind her and placed his hands on her elbows after I picked up the dumbbells. Her temper was raising, but was trying really hard not to let the whistle blow. I could feel his hot breath on my neck. I wanted to spin around and teach this nincompoop a lesson, but resisted. "Ok you you want to have your hands straight up in the area and want to gently bend your arm from the elbow." I bent my elbow just as he said and bumped my dumbbell on something. "Like this?" I said, having no Idea what he was teaching me. I turned around to see that the something that I hit was his nose.

What did I do?

I quickly went to my bag and got out a tissue and passed it to him. "I am so sorry. I bent my elbow a bit to fast."

"It's fine it's my fault. I just came here to ask you for your number but......" He said, but winced when I tried to help. I feel like an Idiot. "Indeed you are an idiot." I looked up from the strangers nose to see that it was Jade. "Ya I don't find anything about this amusing."

"Who said this is amusing. I was just stating a true fact." She said with her head held high, like she had just aced every subject and had her dream boyfriend just asked her out. I narrowed my eyes at her. "Instead for standing there, why don't you help me here." I said averting my attention to the now dark purple blooded nose. "I am sorry. That's your mess, not mine." I groaned but didn't say anything back. "Tell me if it hurts." I said before I started cleaning his nose. He didn't say anything but nodded. As I did I could feel him staring at me as I cleaned. "You look cute when you scratch up your nose when you are trying to concentrate." I was shocked at what he had said. "T-Thanks" I said blushing. He chuckled. I cleaned his nose as much as I could and told him to hold a clean tissue on his nose to prevent the nose from bleeding more than it already has. "Why don't you come to my house and fix your nose properly."

"No it's fine I live close by. I can aid it at home." He said with a weak smile, looking down holding his nose with a tissue. "It's the least I can do for hitting your nose." I said shrugging my shoulders and giving a warm smile. He looked up and faced me. He sighed loudly and gave a dimpled smile. I am a sucker with guys who have dimpled smiles. I was about to say something before someone cleared their throat. "I am still here." Jade said leaning on the wall. I rolled my eyes and moved back from him. I still don't know his name.

"May I ask what your name is?" I said biting the inside of my cheeks. "Ethan." He leaned really close to me. "Yours?"

"Adelaide." I said trying my best not to flinch, but I couldn't do anything about the warmth on my cheeks. He was about to say something when Jade pulled me by the wrist. "Let's go home. I have done enough abserving for today." She said talking about the guys that she saw playing beach volleyball. I chuckled as I packed my bag. It wasn't long before Jade, Ethan and I were inside the house.

"I am going in the kitchen. So hungry" Jade said before she disappeared down the hallway. I placed my gym bag in the living room and took Ethan to my room to clean the nose up. I told him to sit on my bed while I went to get the first aid kit.

I kneeled down in front of him. "You can place your hand down now." I said. I observed the nose to see that the nose was thankfully not broken but just badly bruised. I opened the aid kit and took out the ointment. I rubbed some of it on a clean cloth. "Tell me if it hurts" I said before I started. As soon as I placed my hand on his nose he winced. He took a hold of my wrist to stop me from doing anything else, but slowly let go and placed it on his side. He nodded telling me to continue. The whole time I was cleaning his nose his eyes were on me even when I finished and went to put back the kit.

"If you don't stop staring at me like that i will pull out those eyeballs of yours." I said when I came back. Ethan only chuckled, but didn't say anything. He stood up from my bed and walked over, towering over me. I was practically looking at his chest. I tilted my head up a little so I could face him."Thanks" was all he said before he exited my room. I stood there shook, but hurried catching up to him. When we got to the kitchen, Jade was on a barstool eating a sundae that I am guessing she made. "Would you like to have something to drink?" I asked Ethan walking to the fridge. "Cider thanks" I smiled at him and passed him a bottle. He opened it and sat on a bar stool next to Jade. I got myself a glass of orange juice and sat down beside him. "Pass me your phone."

"Why?"

"Just give it" He didn't say anything else and gave his phone to me after unlocking it. I went to contacts and saved my number. "You welcome." I chugged the orange juice and placed the empty glass in the sink.
