Chapter 6

Adelaide's POV

"Who's turn is it?" The Boy's, Jade and I were playing bottle spin truth or dare. The boy's had finished all the Pizza and had to order Thai food for Christine. Jade and I had a Sundae which we didn't share...Obviously. "Jade its you turn." I said and passed the bottle to her. "Oook. Here goes nothing." She spins the bottle and the mouth lands on me.

Crap.

"Truth or dare?" She knows what I am going to chose. "Dare." She smirks at me while raising an eyebrow. The expression is telling me that I had made the wrong choice, but as I always tell her: I love to take risks and have an adventure. "You sure?" She said.

"Positive."

"Ok. Kiss Kai On the lips." She said still smirking like crazy.

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did I hear her right. My face changed from "I'll do anything you give me", to "I wish I could shoot myself, even if I have bad aiming". Ben and Jade HI-FI'ed each other like they were waiting for this moment to come. I looked down so that Kai won't see me blush. I took the risk to see that he was blushing more than I was. Does he like me back? I didn't want to make the situation more worse so I looked somewhere else and that somewhere else ended up on Zane. His expression was unreadable, it had no emotion what so were. He must have sensed me looking at him because turned and looked at me. His eyes were nowhere else but on mine. It felt like he was reading everything about me by just looking at me. He shot me a dazzling smile telling me that he was happy and was having a great time but his eyes told me otherwise. "I-Is there anything else I can do instead of that?" I asked Jade with puppy dog eyes. "Giving up already huh?" Jade said smirking. I couldn't back away now, it was to late. I sat up and leaned in front, so did Kai. I looked at him and then at his lips. Before I could think properly someone pushed me towards Kai and my lips crashed onto his. His hands slide around my waist to stabilize me and my hands where on his chest.

Ba-Damp. Ba-damp. Ba- Damp

Take a DEEP breath Adelaide.

Deep breathe and,

Deep breathe out.

I quickly adjusted myself and placed my hand on his neck. Before I could think. Again. Someone pulled me away from Kai. I looked behind me to see that it was Ben. "That was long enough." My brother is very possessive. I am not complaining, but there are limits to. I looked at him and I could see that he a bit of anger in his eyes. I placed my hand on his to calm him down. "Ben it's ok." After I said that he looked down at me and looked more relaxed. He smiled at me before letting go slowly. I sat down and cuddled with Jade while she stroked my hair. We played on like nothing had happened. I had forfeited so I was sitting down on the sofa wrapped in a cozy blanket. Every now and then I would touch my lips when no one was looking my way. The kiss was amazing but I didn't feel the.........Sparks. I have read many romance books where the girl says that when the guy touches her or when they kiss, she feels the sparks. I started to breathe fast and need something to drink as my mouth was starting to dry.

"I need water." I said before I headed to the kitchen to have a glass of water. I could feel someone's eyes on my back as I walked into the kitchen. I didn't have the energy to look back. My eyes were starting to get really heavy and I had yawned about 10 times while I was sitting on the sofa. After I had a glass I looked at the group where now they were playing Uno. Wanted to play but if I i would just mess up to whole game. I tend to do that when I have got only 4 hours of sleep. I told my brother that I was going to my room to get changed and that I would come to the guest room as soon as I finish changing.

I had finished changing into my onesie and was sitting outside in my balcony. When I was little I would always go and sit outside for many hours gazing the night sky. I would pretend that I am sleeping when cristiane comes to tuck me to bed. After she leaves I would get up and go outside in the balcony. When it's winter I would light up the small fireplace that is in my balcony and sit there all warm in my blanket. When ever I have had a bad day I would sit here and cool down before I go to sleep or go down stairs. I was interrupted by someone talking. "The sky is beautiful isn't it?" I turned around to see that it was Zane. "How'd you know that I was here?" I said a little curious.

"Oh sorry if I scared you. I was getting bored playing the card game thought of joining you and give you company. I asked your brother if I could hang out with you up here."

"And he allowed you?" My brows raised when he said that. My brother doesn't let anyone come in my room except himself and Jade. Not even Kai. "Well, I did lie. I said that I was going to the bathroom, but hey there is one right here, so I won't get into trouble." I just rolled my eyes and looked back at the sky all curled up on the small sofa that was there near the fireplace. Couple of seconds later he sat next to me. "May I join you?" Zane asked from behind. "You are already sitting so there is no point of you saying that." I said.

"That's some interesting clothes you are wearing. Is it appropriate to be wearing it at a cold night like this." he had the audacity to look smug. I hit him on the arm hard. "Oww. I was just joking gosh. You take things so seriously."

"No I don't stop lying."

"Mmmmhmmmmm." Zane said with a smirk on his face.

"Ok Fine I do take small things seriously" I said crossing my arms in front of my chest. "See it wasn't that hard to tell the truth." Zane said still having that smirk on his face. I picked up the closest pillow and threw it at him. Me and Zane goofed around, talked about grow and interesting things. His words not mine. I found lots of interesting things about Zane. He said that he was born in America but brought up in Australia, he likes to have pizza with milk and other things. I must admit he is really fun to hang out with. He is absolutely funny; every sentence that comes out of his mouth is funny, He lights up the mood really easily. And I secretly Love his toned body. Cliche, ya I know.  Who wouldn't? He is annoying though. Every time he starts talking he would have a break in the middle and show off his biceps. "I get it. You need food. Just look at the fat on you stomach. Your skin is so stretchy." I said and pulled his t-shirt up just a bit and started pulling his skin to show that it was stretching. God damn his toned body. "Was that an excuse to touch me. You just had to ask if you loved my abbs that much." I twisted his nipple. "AAAAAAAHHH. Abuse."

"That's what happens when you say stuff like that." I yawned really loudly and slowly placed my head on Zane's shoulder. He said something under his breath but I didn't catch what he said. I felt something heavy on my head. I must of been Zane's Head. I didn't have the energy to shove his head away so I stayed put. I yawned once again before I went into a deep slumber.
