Marina's POV
"What is your name Angel?" The gray eyed man asked, scooting a little closer to me. I maintained eye contact the whole time, but his nude state made my cheeks heat up.
"Marina." I spoke softly, and his eyes widened.
"The seer?" He said, more to himself than me. His eyes darkened for a moment, like he was mind-linking someone.
Can rouges mind link?
"What is your name?" I asked, well more like squeaked. He looked over at me and smiled a gentle smile, not one I would expect from someone attacking me moments ago.
"Q." He answered with a big smile as he stood. I made sure not to looked at down town but it was hard when he's sorta big.
"Cue?" I questioned.
"Yes, like the letter." A rouge appeared from the bushes, carrying what looked like shorts in its mouth as Q took it from its mouth. He slipped it on and held out his hand for me to take. I hesitantly placed my hand in his as he pulled me all the way up and quickly swept my legs up so he was carrying me bridal style.
"Q!" I squealed when he bolted into the forest, I instinctively wrapped my arms around his neck and watched as the pack house disappeared from sight. Well not before I saw some of the wolves that were on patrol.
"You are going to be with me from now on." Q whispered, his voice was so clear despite the wind blowing into our faces. I huddled closer to his chest to try and block out the force.
He ran faster than some of the rouges in their wolf forms and from what I could tell he looks to be around Devon's age but much taller.
I heard a howl off in the distance that I somewhat recognize as one of my pack members, probably alerting the others of the brief intruders and my kidnapping.
**You really planned every step.** Claris starting speaking and I found myself smiling.
**Well up until now.** I clung onto Q when he leaped over a large ditch.
**At least we now know you didn't die.** She joked, but something in her voice sounded sad. **Your family will be devastated.**
**They will move on, they have each other.** I look up to see my mate with the biggest grin I've ever seen on anyone's face before.
Of course no one really has smiled around me. So that comparison is thrown out the window.
Eventually we stopped in a clearing far from my territory where there was a small lake. Q continued to hold me close to his chest as we approached the lake side, gently setting me down beside him as we were quickly surrounded by the hundreds of rouges who I now could tell they were all warriors.
"Q?" I looked up at my rather massive mate who was smiling down at me. I looked up at him through my long lashes and found myself feeling self conscious of my bony frame as some of the warriors shifted into taller, well-built, and nude, men and women. "Q?" I repeated softer, feeling myself lean into him, almost tucking myself into his side away from all of their eyes.
One of the warrior's eyes glazed over along with Q's, telling me that they are mind linking each other.
