Marina's POV
"Oh hello," a beautiful brunette girl greeted me as soon as I walked out of the bathroom and into Q's room. "Are you a new wolf? What pack are you from?"
I smiled kindly at her, seeing how I've anticipated this.
"I am a new wolf, my name is Marina. I'm from the Haven Dusk Pack." I watched Elise's smile fade slowly.
"The seer?" She asked, her voice getting higher in excitement. "Can you tell me my future? Is my son going to be happy?" She paused for a moment, her wide innocent brown eyes were so hopeful. "Wait! Where are my manners?! I'm Elise." She held up her hand and I shook it, feeling how ridiculously soft her hand it.
"Nice to meet you Elise, but I can tell you that your son will grow up to be happy. He will be strong and triumph over all of his problems." I genuinely smile over her son, someone who I'm going to know quite soon.
"That's amazing!" She cried, pulling me into a tight hug, thanking me over and over again.
I hold my tight smile.
I know this girl better than she thinks.
"By the way, what are you doing in the alpha's room?" She looked curiously at me, "And in his sweatshirt?"
I've been going through Q's sweatshirts, mostly because he keeps giving them to me. Not that I'm complaining.
"I'm just a new wolf. My health isn't the best so Q has been helping me and monitoring my condition. I'm actually in the room next door. I was just here to return some of his things. I pulled out a random pen and notebook from the sweatshirt pocket. These were somethings Q gave me to pass the time.
"Oh." She seemed relatively convinced. "Would you like to join me in the mess hall? My son and I were just about to have lunch with Q."
"Okay." I follow her out and down the halls. We stopped at one of the rooms which opened up to an older werewolf couple holding a baby that looked to be just born. "Oh how cute! Is he your son?" I exclaimed, looking at the tiny pup and already knowing the answer.
"Yup!" She beamed, "This is my 2 month old pup, Archer." She smiled as the baby slowly opened his eyes to reveal a beautiful purple color that seemed to just glow, signifying the kind of power he holds.
"Why hello there Archer," I leaned into the baby and let him grab onto my finger, "It's nice to meet you, my name is Marina." I fiddle my finger around, earning gurgled giggles from the precious being.
**He's adorable.** Claris spoke tenderly as we watched the newborn like our own child.
**He is.**
"Now let's go to the mess hall!" Elise declared, saying goodbye to the couple and heading straight towards the cafeteria. "By the way, do you know where Q is? I asked for him to join us for lunch."
"Don't worry, he'll be there." I spoke, not really answering her question.
"Oh is that a sort of seer-thing?" She asked, bouncing Archer in her arms as she spoke.
"Sorta." I answered, walking into the cafeteria and being immediately greeted by Wes.
"Miss Lu-" He cut himself off as soon as he saw Elise who was standing beside me with her baby. Eyeing the infant down with a hard look on his face he turned back to me and his smile returned, "Marina! Just the girl I wanted to see."
