Chapter 9-

<David's POV>

Happiness washed over me as Tyler and I pushed Shane off the edge of the bridge.

Shoey would finally be over.

Or so I thought.

I couldn't believe what happened next.

Joey jumped off of the bridge after Shane.

As he fell off of the very high bridge, I fired a few shots at him, but they all missed.

It wasn't long before someone heard the gunshots and reported it to the police.

Tyler and I jumped, hoping to get away, but the cops still found us and arrested us.

Now I'm sitting here in a small cold cell with Tyler.

We haven't had our trial yet, but I'm hoping that the trial will be our oppurtunity to escape.

Joey will be mine.

<Joey's POV>

I held Shane's ice cold hand in mine and hugged him close to me, trying to warm him up.

"Please don't ever leave me Shane." I whispered.

I stroked his wet hair and he gave me a weak smile.

"I'll try my best. These skanks and hoes just want to kill me all the time."

I giggled and held him tighter.

"You know, maybe we should go on vacation. Just to get away from all of this craziness for a while." I suggested.

He nodded and closed his eyes.

I couldn't blame him for being tired. After all, he did almost die.

The rest of the night consisted of us getting cleared by the hospital, and explaining what happened at the police station.

When we got home I burst into tears at the sight of all of Sawyer's things.

I completely lost it when I saw the depressed look on Hitch's face.

I grabbed Hitch and climbed into bed, falling to sleep shortly after Shane.

The next morning I woke up before Shane (Typical.) and hopped onto my laptop.

I searched "Apartments for sale in Los Angeles" and started looking.

I couldn't stand living in Sawyer's apartment after he died. It just didn't feel right.

I gasped as I found a beautiful apartment.

Two bathrooms, three bedrooms, an office, and a stunning kitchen and living room with a fireplace.

I shook Shane's shoulder and he opened his eyes.

"Ugh! Joey I was sleeping!" He complained.

I gave him a light kiss on the lips and he stopped complaining.

"Look at this apartment! Isn't it nice? It's not very expensive either!" I said.

Shane grabbed my laptop from me and started looking at the apartment.

"Are you sure that you want to move?" He asked.

"Yes! It would be the perfect place to start our family!" I pleaded.

Wait? Did I really just say that out loud.

I clapped a hand over my mouth in embarassment.

Shane started laughing and snorting.

"That wasn't supposed to be said out loud!" I said, making Shane laugh harder.

When Shane finally stopped laughing he held my hands in his.

"If you want to move, we'll move. If you want to start a family, we can start a family."

My face turned red and Shane kissed me on the cheek.

"Wanna go look at it today?" He asked.

I nodded and stood up.

"I'm going to take a shower." I announced gathering up my clothes.

"Can I join?" He asked.

"Um... No." I replied.

I turned away from him and tried to hide my blushing face.

I felt him come up behind me and wrap his arms around my front, resting his head on my shoulder.

I spun around to face him and he pushed his lips onto mine passionately, a fire igniting between us.

When we pulled away I started walking towards the door when he stopped me.

"Oh, and Joey?" He asked.

"Hmm?" I answered.

"I think it's sexy when you blush."

<Shane's POV>

After we were both showered and we ate breakfast Joey got a call from Sawyer's parents.

They asked us to pack up his stuff so they could take it from us later.

Joey on the phone-

Joey- "Wait are you serious? Yes, we will take very good care of him. Okay, see you later, bye."

Joey hung up and turned to me with a look of excitement on his face.

"Shane, our family just got a little bit bigger!" He squealed.

I furrowed my eyebrows at him. What?

"We get to keep Hitch! Corny will have a little friend!" He said.

So for the rest of the afternoon we packed up all of Sawyer's stuff into boxes, and drove to his parents house.

It made me sad, seeing them in their depressed state.

That's how Joey would've felt if I had died. Joey saved my life, and I could never thank him enough for that.

After we consoled his parents and gave them Sawyers belongings we drove to the apartment that we wanted.

I grabbed Joey's hand and pulled him in after me.

I gasped.

There was a huge glass chandelier hanging over the kitchen table, and the floors were marble and white.

A lady in professional clothing walked up to us, blocking my view of the gorgeous apartment.

"Hi! Are you here for a tour?" She said in a cheery voice.

"Yeah! I'm Shane and this is my boyfriend Joey."

She flinched at the word boyfriend and I felt Joey tense up next to me.

I squeezed his hand.

I know how he feels about homophobic people.

"Well, follow me Joey and Shane." She said.
