Chapter 15- All's Fair In Love And War

Chapter 15-

<Shane's POV>

I walked into my favorite restaurant that night with a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach.

I reluctantly walked over to the table that my ex girlfriend was sitting at.

"Hey Shane!" She squealed.

She's literally shaking with excitement.

Maybe she is plotting something...

"Hey Lisa." I replied, giving her my best fake smile.

She frowned. "Why do you seem so nervous Shaney?"

I cringed.

That's Joey's nickname for me.

Is she trying to make me uncomfortable on purpose?

She started rubbing my arm and I froze.

Yup. She definitely is.

"I'm not going to do anything Shane. If you wanted me, you would just come back to me. I can't force you to love me!" She explained.

I gulped and nodded.

She seems sincere, but there's just something that doesn't feel right.

I can't trust her yet.

After we ordered and had some pretty awkward conversations, I excused myself to the bathroom.

I need to talk to Joey.

<Lisa's POV>

My plan is falling perfectly into place.

I made Shane uncomfortable so he would have to go call Joey and now the most important part of the plan will take place.

I reached into my bag and grabbed the drugs that one of my best friends from rehab sold me. (She's a drug addict.)

I opened up the container and poured the contents into Shane's diet coke.

I smirked and used his straw to stir everything in.

I sat back in my chair and got comfortable.

Shane's the love of my life and i'm not going to let anyone get in the way.

Not even himself.

That's why I'm drugging him.

It's the only way to turn him straight!

<Shane's POV>

I dialed Joey's number and he answered on the first ring.

Typical Joey.

"Hello? Is everything okay Shane?"

I blushed.

It's cute when he's worried about me.

"Everything's fine. I just wanted to hear your voice. I'm kinda stressed because Lisa seems like she's planning something." I admitted.

Joey let out a breath. "It's okay Shaney! If anything happens just call me and I will be there okay?"

I sighed and instantly felt calmer.

Joey always knows just what to say to me.

"Okay Joey. Love you!" I said.

He chuckled. "Love you too!"

We disconnected and I walked back to the table feeling much better.

I took a sip of my soda and Lisa gave me a wide smile.

I shrugged it off.

She's probably just happy that I'm back at the table.
