You wake up in an elegant room and you see your father next to you as you shake to wake him. You stop as he was out cold as he always is and you knew you were grounded for who knows how long.

"Sleeping beauty woke up," Said a man as he smirked a bit and looked. "I am assuming that you want some food and don't worry your father is alright. He was very easy to find and as well he's going to be on vacation for a while. We are taking him somewhere else." He said as he snaps his finger and two people came and took him.

You blinked and looked at him. "What do you mean, and what is going to happen to me. Does my father even know that I am not going with him? What is your name" You asked as he got up and walked to the man as he was significantly taller than you.

"I have told him that we hired someone to look after you and that we will pay them. Now my name is Demetri, and you are in a mess. What were you thinking hmm? Walking alone down that place." He asked.

You rolled your eyes as he was sounding like your father. "I don't need a damn lecture from someone who does not even know me or what the hell my situation is," you said as you got snappy with him. "Also, I was doing perfectly fine without you, thank you very much," you claimed.

Demetri shook his head and looked at you into your eyes. "I know enough as Aro has told me, and well you know that vampires exist."

"What does that have to do with anything? So I know that you do, but no one is going to believe me. If you just let me go I won't say anything." You claimed and which you were going to do.

"I can not let you go for personal reasons. How do you say this in your time? You are my soul mate. Your smell is alluring and well we vampires wait for millions of years for ours." Demetri said as he looked into your eyes.

You blinked as you believed in true love but didn't think it was going to be with a vampire. You sat down thinking that this is a joke and that you are having a weird dream about everything and that you are in the hospital.

"What are you saying that I am your soul mate. Are you insane, how can a human girl be with a vampire. Sure you are good looking, but I am not that pretty." You said as you just could not wrap your head around all of this. "Also what if I just leave."

Demetri looks and shakes his head. "Well, you will be caught and be dead. Darling, look everything will be okay. Well please follow me." Demetri said as he takes your hand and walks.

You looked around and it was beautiful. All of the old artifacts, it was like going back in time. The way Demetri had his clothing and how the building was it matched. You gasped a bit as it got a little bit colder and you walked closer to him.

"Don't worry, you are safe with me," Demetri said as he walked into a room with you as there were three people sitting, and waiting for him and you.

"Finally you came, I thought you would never come." Said the blonde with a rude remark and rolled his eyes as he sees Demetri. "Why bring a human, not only two humans. Do you want to die?" He asked.

"Now now Caius, be gentle. This human means a great deal to Demetri. Please don't be frightened." Said the man with long hair and wavey.

You looked as you were hiding behind Demetri as you only trusted him at the moment. "[Y/N] Nickoloff," you said.

"A Nickoloff, rare to find your kind nowadays." Said the man in the middle. "I am assuming your father or mother have not told you?" He said as he smirked.

You looked and shook your head as you had no idea what was going on. Sure you were not normal, you could heal your own scars pretty quick. As well never really got sick or anything.

"Well no they did not, and why would they. How the hell would you know anyway? My mother is dead." You bluntly said.

"Is she really? Did you ever find a body?" he asked as he snapped his fingers. "I think you owe your daughter an explanation. Melody." He claimed. "Oh, where are my manners. My name is Aro, the blonde is Caius and the other is Marcus. If you will excuse all of us. We have more important matters to attend to." Aro said as he leaves.

"Mom!" you yelled as you tackled her to the ground. "I thought you were dead, I missed you so much." You said as you were crying.

Melody looks and smiles as she hugs you. "I know sweetheart I know. I wanted to tell you what you really were but your father would not let me. So I faked my death. Your mother is a witch." She said as she looks.

"What do you mean I am a witch. I thought all of that was fake. You must be joking." you said as you looked at her.

"Well I was a witch, I am now well a vampire. My powers have increased since then and I was dying but someone found me. Demetri in fact." She said with a smile.

You looked at Demetri and smiled as you hugged him. "Thank you so much for saving my mother," you said as you felt the cold skin. You looked up and gave him a kiss on the cheek as a thank you. You walked back to your mother and smiled. "You have a lot to explain." You said.

"You two talk, I know she will protect you and inform you. I have to go back to work, I will be back tonight. Then we can talk about us." Demetri said as he had matters to attend to with another female and the rogue vampire.
