I wake with a start, breathing heavily.
"Kat? Katniss... Are you ok?" Peeta says gently, his eyes full of worry.
"Yes. Just another nightmare."

"Ajax! Petunia! Come here please!" I say. "It's time to leave the meadow."
"Aw mommy, do we have to?" Ajax complains.
"Yeah. Do we?" Petunia says
I sigh, and say, "Yes kids. It's getting late and time to eat."
"Aww ok" Peeta sighs, playfully.
I softly punch his arm, and he laughs slightly.
I grab Ajax, and Peeta grabs Petunia's hand.
We walk through the meadow, heading to our home in the victors village.
"Hey!" Someone shouts.
Ajax, now 3, screams, and a needle is injected into his arm. Peeta screams... Screams I am a mutt. Screams he does not know Petunia. A needle is pulled from his arm. Ajax shouts. Shouts I am a mutt... Like Peeta. Hearing my husband tell me that is hard and hits me where it hurts, but my own son. That's the worst possible thing I could imagine... I couldn't up until now.
"MOMMY KILLED DADDY'S FAMILY!!" He kicks and screams at me, so I set him to the ground. He hugs Peeta's legs and continues screaming at me.
"Petunia, dear... She's going to hurt you.. come here."
"No."
"Petunia. I said come here!" Peeta is angry now.
"MOMMY DIDNT DO ANYTHING!!"
"SHE KILLED MY FAMILY DUMB CHILD!!"
A hard blow to the face... Petunia is down.. Knocked out.. Barely breathing.
"I can't...take this any...more. WHAT DO YOU...WANT FROM...ME?!" I shout between sobs. He lurches towards me, arms wrapped around my neck. I let him have me. I don't move anymore. I'm giving up....
