Author's Note: The picture attached is what I picture Jason Palmer to look like, isn't he just the perfect 'california' boy. Also I see Aria's dad (Rey) as Tan France, thoughts?
Florence
Things had soon gone back to normal. Beckett and I came to an understanding: we were going to pretend like that night never happened, that he had never even encountered the she-witch. And the rest of our friends, eager for things to return to the way they always have been, went with it.
Well, everyone except for Aria, what can I say the girl holds a grudge.
But soon enough, even that had faded.
We all began doing our own thing, exploring everything Waldorf Academy had to offer. We started seeing each other less and less. We still ate lunch together, and we were still best friends. But we became preoccupied. We were all joining different clubs, trying out for sports teams, making new friends, and expanding our circle. It was natural, and we were all happy. Things were flowing smoothly.
My eyes scanned the dining hall until I found our table, tray in hand I went to go join my friends.
"Hey Florence!"
"Hi Aria, Hi Jason." They had been attached at the hip these days, I sat down wondering if Aria was already planning their wedding. Because, at the rate they're going, a wedding does not seem too far off.
Beckett and Emily join us next, Emily with her latest crush in tow. "Hey guys! This is Bernard, Bernard these are my friends: Florence, Aria, and Jason."
Bernard looks at her incredulously, "I know who your friends are Emily," he shakes his head, "but hey everyone, what's up?"
Jason engages him in some conversation about football, as Aria and I make disapproving eyes at each other. Let's just say we are not apart of the Bernard fan club. Emily and him have been dating for about a month now, and he treats her pretty terribly. He always acts like she's some kind of idiot, and sweet Emily just takes it.
I fake a gag to Aria as Beckett tells some dickish joke, and Bernard's laugh rings out the loudest. Another thing about Bernard, he's an ass-kisser. And he especially loves to kiss Beckett's ass.
Aria and I have a sneaking suspicion, that's he's trying to use Emily to get tight with Beckett, Leo, Jason and all of their friends. I guess you could call them the more 'popular guys,' seeing as how they're all on some type of sports team, or somehow influential at school.
I look around our table and as others join us I finally notice that a key member is missing in action, "wait where's Leo?"
Eli, a friend of the guys, turns to answer me, "he's sitting with the rest of the student council today."
Aria's head snaps over, "excuse me, what?"
"Uh... he's sitting with student council?" Eli repeats.
"Okay no no no no, this just won't do" she whips out her phone, typing furiously. She smiles, "There that's better."
I look at her quizzically, as does Eli. But as many people often do with Aria, we both decide to ignore it.
Instead, I turn to Eli after noticing a tattoo on his bicep, and decide to ask him what it means.
He grins, obviously proud of his ink, "It's 'fuck off' in arabic."
I crack up, "that's amazing." Eli is a pretty, decent looking guy. He isn't as tall as the other guys on the basketball team - but his black hair, tanned complexion, hazel eyes, and sparkling teeth definitely make up for it, in terms of attractiveness.
