"Stars can't shine without darkness"

-Unknown

========================

Sigrid stands at Jon's side using him to lean on slightly.

Her body was weak due to the stab wound and her use of magic.

Her hands were wrapped in thin bandages along with the wound on her side.

Jon hadn't questioned her much on anything that happened but she knew he would tonight while everyone was busy.

Jon gently wraps his arm around the female's waist keeping her up as she shifts slightly.

"Let me take you back inside", he asks the woman who shakes her head.

"Sigrid, you can barely stand on your own", Jon states with concern, "the boys are coming I'm not leaving you lot out here alone when you don't know what your dealing with", "and you do", Jon asks.

"I do now", she sighs, her head resting against his shoulder.

"Are they what you saw out there?", Jon asks, "not them specifically but others".

Both look to Grenn, Pyp, Sam and Rast, as they walk over, all of them just staring at the bodies till Sam speaks up.

"They've been touched by White Walkers, that's why they came back, that's why they're eyes turned blue"..

Sigrid nods slowly, blue eyes flashing through her mind.

"I know you've been thinking it too, Sigrid", Sam says, "only fire can stop them", she mutters.

"How'd you know that?", Grenn asks, "because she defeated two last night you tosspot", Pyp says.

Sigrid rolls her eyes, "it was the stories my family always told me, its the only reason I know", she says and lets out a shaky breath.

"When I was out there in the field a normal sword couldn't kill them and it shattered when I attacked the Wight, the leader, in there when I attacked the things they could stand after a death blow the only way either of them died was through fire".

"How much do you know about them", Sam asks.

Sigrid takes a moment to think, "only that they've been encased in ice for the last thousand years and are only rising now", "what happens when they wake up?", Pyp asks, "I hope the walls high enough", Sam states.
