It's been a long summer.

A very long summer of boredom and loneliness spent in the dark chambers of your room. Of course, you wished you could've spent this year's summer with Jimin doing so many fun things together as a couple. The both of you had planned for many activities together like going to festivals, cafes, amusement parks, and even the beach. However, he couldn't stay back to relax in the summer with everyone as he's responsible for taking care of his family business in the future that will eventually be passed down onto him. With his situation, you fully understood the pressure of family businesses while you continued to patiently wait for his return after summer ends. However, despite patiently waiting for his return, the most entertaining thing you've done this summer was just laying around the house in your room with Lisa occasionally checking up on you to see if you were still alive.

"So, how are you and Jimin? Did you hear any messages from him yet?" Lisa asked as she lazily hopped onto your bed and laid down on your soft, plush mattress before shifting around to find a comfortable position. Quietly shutting the door from behind, you made your way over to your bed before crawling up and laying down beside Lisa.

"I mean we're good. But," trailing off from your sentence, your eyes now make their way up to stare at the ceiling above you as you continued to lay down on the bed. Sensing the doubt in your tone, Lisa craned her neck over to look at you with a raised brow.

"But?" she questioned, waiting for your response as she watched you turn around to look at her with a nervous expression.

"It's been almost a month since we last messaged each other. Like, I understand he's busy with everything, but it's been so long since we've talked or seen each other," you paused, letting out a sigh of slight frustration. Twirling a hand through your hair, you continue to let the millions of questions that you never want to think about, run through your mind.

"Do you think, this is just one of those high school relationships where the relationship doesn't last in the summer after high school ends? Do you think he's maybe fallen out of love?" you questioned out loud to Lisa, a slight panic now beginning to rise. Lisa could sense the panic now forming inside of you as she quickly wrapped her arms around you before gently rubbing your back in reassurance in hopes of comforting you.
