jenna woke up to her phone being blown up by text messages.
she sleepily grabbed her phone, went she turned the screen on, it was way too bright for her, so she turned her brightness down all the way. she looked at the time and saw that it was only six in the morning. why they waking me up at six in the morning? i should be sleeping. then she looked at all the texts.
tyler🤠: hey.
hi.
just wanted to tell you good morning.
do you work today?
then when she got to the bottom of her notifications, she saw that her boss texted her.
boss: what have you guys texted about?
she unlocked her phone and went to her messages. first she texted back tyler.
jenna🌈: good morning to you too. i don't work today. i needed a break. i think my boss can handle the restaurant on her own.
then she went to her bosses messages and texted her back.
jen: nothing much. we just said good morning to each other.
ding
a text from tyler.
tyler🤠: that's cool. if you don't have anything planned for today, would you want to get some coffee. it doesn't have to be from the place you work.
is tyler asking me out on a date? no. he wouldn't. he doesn't even like me. he probably has a girlfriend or something.
jenna🌈: sure.
tyler🤠: ok. good. where do you want to go?
jenna🌈: i don't really care. you can pick.
tyler🤠: ok. it will be a surprise then. where do you live? i can pick you up?

as we got to the place tyler took us, we went inside to find pretty fairy lights and the smell of Carmel and cinnamon.
"i hope you like this place, i discovered it when a friend took me here."
tyler said as we walked to the place where you order your drinks at.
"what can i get for you guys?"
the boy behind the cash register said, smiling at jenna, not really looking at tyler all too much.
"um, i will take the Carmel frappe."
tyler said, looking at jenna to place her order.
she looked up at the screen that held all the drinks they served.
"i will take the same thing as him."
she finally looked back at the guy.
"alright, coming right up."
he turned away and began making the drinks.
after about three minutes, he placed the drinks down on the counter.
"that will be six thirty-eight."
the man said, still staring at jenna.
she was about to take her money out but tyler beat her to it.
"oh no, i can pay for my own drink."
she reassured tyler, he just shook his head.
"i got it. you can get next time."
he said back.
there's going to be a next time?
when we sat down, it was silent. we both were drink our coffees in peace.
