as i made my way to the door, i peered inside the window on the door and saw that tyler and my boss were talking, i hesitated before opening the door, it looked like they were having fun in there, they were laughing and talking like they were best friends.

as soon as they heard the ding of the door being opened, they quickly looked back at the door and saw me walking towards them.

the immediately stopped laughing and had expressions on their face, as if they were not not just laughing their asses off a second ago.

"hey guys."
i said, sitting down at one of the chairs that were placed by the counter.

"hey."
they both said.

"i didn't know you guys were that good of friends? i never seen you two talk at all."
i questioned, looking between the two of them.

their looked at each other for a few seconds before tyler ended the silence.

"we were childhood friends."
he said quickly.

"oh, you never told me that."
i looked at my boss to see what her response would be.

"i just didn't think it was that important, that's all."
she said, looking down at her coffee.

something seemed off.

"well, i should probably go back into the kitchen now."
she quickly made her way to the kitchen, leaving only tyler and i in the other room.

"well,"
tyler began.
"what do you want to do after your shifts over?"
he asked, taking a sip of his coffee.

"we could go to the park?"
i suggest.

"sure."
he smiled at me.

after my shift was over, we went towards tyler's car and got in.

after tyler started the car and drove out of the drive way, i plugged my phone into the aux cord.

i hit shuffle and a very familiar song came on.

old fashioned by panic! at the disco.

"dude, i love panic!."
tyler smiled as the song went on.

"i really like their new album."
i say, as brendon urie kept singing his heart out.

"me too."

after five more songs, we were parked in the driveway where the park was.

we got out and quickly went to the swings.

"this is my favorite part about parks, the swings."
i say as i felt the air around me as i started to go higher.

"me too, it makes me calm and it feels great as the wind blows on you and makes you cool."
tyler smiles.

after the swings, we went to the slides.

after sliding down them for a good half hour, we decided that the night was coming to an end and so we left the park.

tyler took me back to the restaurant so i could get into my car and drive home.

"i will see you tomorrow, do you have to work?"
tyler asks.

"no. i can mostly always just call my boss and say that i'm. it coming to work that day because it's not really that busy."
i laugh.

"oh, ok."
he smiles.

"would you wanna hangout tomorrow?"
he asks.

"sure."
i start walking to my car.

"see you tomorrow then?"
he questions.

"yeah, tomorrow."
i get inside my car and start driving home.

what am i doing? we have a great friendship and i really like him. why can't it just stay like that? i don't want to have to live with the stress of getting nervous around him all the time.

if we start dating, that could ruin the friendship. i wouldn't want that. he's the bestest friend i have ever had.

but that's only if he likes me back. he probably doesn't though.

and if we break up, then what? we wouldn't hang out then, i have the greatest time with him, why give that up for a 10% chance of getting married and stuff?

if i could, i would just keep it like it is now, but i'm not sure what the future
holds.

as i stop thinking about tyler and the stress, i realize that i'm home.

i get out of my car and walk up the stairs, to my apartment room.

i open the door to find it really messy.

i should really clean my apartment.

i've been putting it on the side, but now, i should really do it.

plus, what if tyler were to come here and see how messy it is, that would not be good. i wouldn't want him to know i love in a pig barn (it would be cool tho, since shane dawson would be there, but not the point)

i hook up my phone to my bluetooth speaker and play my playlist, making sure the volume isn't too loud, so i don't get a noise complaint.

i should really move into an actual house.

i start cleaning up all the wrappers off the ground and putting them into my trash can.

after that, i put all my dishes into my mini sink.

by the time i'm done with that, my sink is over flowing with dishes.

i clean up my clothes from the ground and put them into a pile, my apartment is pretty nice so there's a small washer and drier in a small closet room.

i put all the clothes in the washer, not having to sort through them since they're all black (same)

i got into my small bathroom and clean up in there.

after that, i decide to wash some of the dishes in the sink. i would use the dishwasher but it's broke so i can't.

ding

i pick up my phone and see that my boss texted me.

i quickly wash off the soap on my hands and pause the music before going into our text messages and reading her text.

boss: you can have tomorrow off. i don't think i would need any help with the restaurant.

how convenient.

jen: ok. thanks!

boss: no problem!

i turn the music back in and continue doing my dishes.

after i cleaned mostly all of them, i decide it's time for bed.

i turn the music off and charge my phone, and go to bed.

the only thing on my mind the whole night was tyler.
