Monday came around and the trio went in for their meeting, sitting in the waiting room until a lady came out with a bright smile.

She signaled for the three to come in and they did, wearing small smiles when stepping into the room to sit down and face her.

“So, I've gathered enough information about the three of you, from what I could find, and I think you'd be suitable parents for a baby boy, and even children who are older.” The three smiled, letting the stress of wondering if they'd be accepted or not slipping off of their shoulders in a matter of a few seconds.

“But the three of you are still young, are you sure that this is the right idea? I'm in no way trying to steer you away from doing so, I just want to be sure that this is what you really need in your lives for being young adults.”

They gave each other looks of reassurance before nodding, eyes going back to the kind woman in front of them who began to smile a bit bigger than before, pulling out a plentiful amount of files that each contained a baby that's currently up for adoption.

“I'll give you some time to look through each one of these babies and toddlers, then we can meet them right away, okay?” The trio nodded, each grabbing one of the many files to look through them separately, switching them from time to time to think it through.

It didn't take too long for them to find a right choice, even if the baby boy happened to be a bit older than the Irishman had intended. He wanted to have an actual baby, but a toddler would do as well, and the other two agreed.

Claire, the woman on the other side of them, gave a look at their favorite child from amongst the group and smiled big.

She then nodded and stood up, in which the three men did the same, before following her out the door and towards one of the many rooms that held the either orphaned or given up children.

Once they made it inside one of them, Claire lead them to Xander, a mixed, 5 year old boy who played blocks with another toddler.

His hair grew short and black, his skin a mixed shade, him being white and Pakistani, and looked to be as an average height for his age. When he turned to look at the three men, his eyes showed a clear hazel shade, a small smile coming onto his face as he viewed Niall, Liam, and Zayn who kneeled down.

“Xander, this is Niall Payne, Liam Payne, and Zayn Payne. They want to take care of you and I hope that it'll be okay to do so.” The boy stood up and walked closer to the three, scrunching his nose as he touched each of their faces.

It made the three laugh and smile as the boy did so, feeling their hearts skip a few beats at how he adorable he turned out to be.

“They will be my daddies?” Xander asked Claire when turning back to her, raising his brow as he looked a bit confused.

She nodded, “yes, dear. The three of them will take care of you and make sure you have the needs you deserve. They will be wonderful parents, I assure you that, okay?” Xander nodded, letting a small smile play on his lips again, turning back to the trio stood up.

“Daddy, Papa, and Da.” He spoke, pointing to Niall, Liam then Zayn with a bigger smile. The three smiled back at the boy, Claire watching with a look of satisfaction and appreciation.

“Well, Daddy, Papa and Da and I will have to sort a few more things out, so you can play with Leeroy in the meantime, okay?” Xander nodded, sitting back down with his friend as the smile continued to be stuck to his face.

After the three finished the rest of the paperwork, they took Xander and his belongings with him to the car.

It made them sad seeing him and his friend say goodbye to each other, but they knew that they'd cross paths again, they're sure of it.
