Kartik and Naira were having coffee standing near lake Zurich.
"Do you love Kabir?" Kartik asked.
He didn't want to ask that. But he had to. His heart was beating fast. It was hurting him again and again.
"May Be." Naira said.
Kartik was hurt hearing this.
"He will take good care of you Naira. I know he loves you. He will keep you happy always." Kartik said with a smile.
"It's none of your business. I know what I have to do in my life." Naira said with anger.
"I just said...." Kartik was abt to say something when...
"I can't love anyone. You made me heartless Kartik. You did so many pieces of my heart that neither they can be collected nor they can be fixed." Naira said while taking a sip from her coffee.
"And abt Kabir. I know he loves. He knows me better. He knows I can't love anyone. But see still he's behaving as if it never hurt him. He's a true friend of mine. Everyone isn't an idiot and stupid like you. He trusts me. He isn't like you who can come in anyone's words and accuse me." Naira said emotionlessly.
Kartik remained silent.
"Thanks for the coffee. I wish we never meet again." Naira left while saying this.
"These moments are enough for me Naira. I'll live with them my whole life. I wish you always stay happy. I wish no one breaks your heart the way I broke. As much as I want you back in my life more than that I want you to be happy. I love you Jaan. I'll always love you." Kartik said
He closed his eyes. He only saw Naira's face. His lips curved into a smile.
"I loved this coffee with you." Kartik said smiling.
Naira was walking. Her mind went to that coffee she had with Kartik.
"Why I agreed to him? Why I had coffee with him? What's happening to me? Am I doing wrong with Kabir? Yes I'm hurting him. He loves me truly and I'm hurting him a lot. I should do something for his happiness. He always did everything for my happiness. Now it's my time." Naira talked to herself.
She dialled Kabir's number and asked him to meet at the lake side.
Within 15 minutes,Kabir was there.
"Naira What happened?" Kabir asked worriedly.
"How much you love me?" Naira asked.
Kabir was stunned.
"I love you a lot. But what's the matter?" Kabir asked.
"WILL YOU MARRY ME?" Naira asked making Kabir startle.
"Naira What are.....do you have any idea what you are saying? I know you don't love me..." Kabir was cut off by Naira.
"My parents also fell in love after marriage. May be I also start loving you after marriage. Will you marry me?" Naira justified and asked him again.
"Take time Naira and think abt it. You saying it in hurry." Kabir kept his point of view.
"No I'm not. I'm taking a mature decision. You love me right. My Mumma says that one person's love is enough for 2 people to live life." Naira again justified her decision.
"I'm ready to marry. Will you parents agree?" Kabir asked.
"We will talk to them." Naira said.
Will Kabir and Naira marry? Will Naira realise her love for Kartik? Will she forgive Kartik? Will Kabir unite Naira and Kartik? Will Naira accept Kartik again in her life?
