Everyone was having dinner. Kartik and Naira were sitting beside each other.
Kartik held Naira's hand beneath the table. Naira angrily looked at him.
"Leave my hand." Naira spoke
"Jaan please na. I don't want to." Kartik said making a puppy dog face.
Naira stopped protesting. They intertwined their fingers.
They were done with dinner. Suddenly Naira's phone started ringing.
Naira left from the table. She picked the call. Someone told him something which shocked her to the core.
Suddenly there was gun shot. Everyone looked here and there.
Naira fell on the floor. She was lying in pool of blood. Everyone ran to Naira.
The shooter tried to ran. Naksh and Shubham held him.
"Why you shot at Naira?" Naksh shouted.
"I promised her that I'll kill her." The man laughed.
"Naira. Naira please open your eyes." Kartik patted Naira's cheeks.
Kartik picked Naira in his arms. They took Naira to hospital. Doctor treated Naira.
"Don't worry she is fine. The bullet just touched her arm. But make sure she doesn't work with that arm." Doctor informed.
"Doctor can I go to her?" Kartik asked
"Not now. Once she is shifted to ward you can see her." Doctor told him.
After an hour
Naira woke up and saw Kartik sitting beside her.
"Kartik." Naira spoke in low voice.
"Naira you Okay na? Is it paining?" Kartik asked in concern
"I'm fine. Don't worry. Why are you crying?" Naira looked at Kartik who was in tears.
"YOUR PAIN KILLS ME." Kartik said while caressing Naira's hairs.
Everyone came inside.
"Naira who was that guy?" Naksh asked. "He said he promised you that he will kill you." He added.
"MANAV." Naira spoke.
"What he did?" Naitik asked.
"Papa 5 years back he was in Austria. I came to know abt his illegal business of selling expat girls to different countries. I made him arrest. That's why he just took revenge from me." Naira explained.
"Tum thk ho na Naira?" Akshara asked
"Haan Mumma." Naira smiled at her mother who was worried for her.
Akshara kissed on her forehead.
"Har jagah Jhansi Ki Rani banna zaroori hai kya?" Kartik said angrily.
"It was abt life of more than 100 girls. My life wasn't important than those girls. If I died 100 would have been saved na." Naira justified her point.
"You and your stupid justifications. Keep them with you." Kartik said annoyed.
"You are stupid. You are dumb. Don't dare mess with me." Naira hit Kartik's head.
"Owwww. Why you hit me?" Kartik asked
"Because you deserved it stupid,idiot,duffer,dumbo.Dharti pe bhoj." Naira shouted.
Kartik and Naira started fighting like Tom and Jerry. They weren't listening to anyone who was trying to stop them.
Families just moved their heads.
"They both can never change." Naitik laughed
"MENDEK & SHERNI will never change." Manish commented
Everyone laughed.
"Arrey Bas Karo." Arjun shouted
Kartik and Naira turned quiet.
"Bhua I know Maamu is stupid. Par aap inke saath fight karke time Kyu waste kar rahe ho?" Arjun said cutely.
Kartik's mouth was wide open. Everyone giggled seeing his face.
"I'll not bring chocolates for you. Toys bhi nahi." Kartik said
"Koi baat Nahi Bhua hai na. My Bhua loves me. Bhua will bring. Huh gande Maamu." Arjun hugged Naira
"Kya bacha hai?" Kartik just moved his head
"Duggu Papa ke jaisa lazy boy Nahi hoon." Arjun spoke making everyone laugh.
