Naira went to Kartik's room. She kept silent all the time.
Kartik came inside.
"Naira you take bath and freshen up." Kartik tried to initiate the convo.
Naira didn't reply. She just took her clothes and went to washroom. Naira came back after 10 minutes.
"Naira dinner." Kartik was trying to talk to her.
Naira remained silent. Her silence was killing him.
Naira picked the pillow and blanket and threw it on floor.
"Naira I'll sleep here....." Kartik was abt to say something.
But Naira went and brought a mattress. She placed pillow and blanket on that. She picked her office bag and took the laptop.
"Naira you might be tired..." Kartik said.
Naira kept working on laptop. Kartik went and sat on the bed. He wanted Naira to sleep.
He decided to stay awake until Naira is awake.
After an hour, Naira went downstairs. Kartik tried to ask her but she left.
Naira went to kitchen and started making coffee for herself. Surekha came there.
"What happened Naira? You want something." Surekha asked.
"Just came to make coffee." Naira said.
"I also came to make Luv Kush's milk shake. Ummm...Naira I wanted your help." Surekha said
"In what?" Naira asked
"Luv Kush are weak in studies. Can you help them out? Next week is their exam." Surekha said
"Surely I'll help them. I'll make them study. I'm free tomorrow." Naira said.
"Thank you" Surekha said this with heart.
Naira took her coffee mug and went to the room. She saw Kartik waiting for her.
"You didn't bring for me." Kartik said with a smile.
Naira still remained silent. She quietly sat on the mattress. She started working again while drinking her coffee.
Kartik drifted to sleep while sitting on the bed.
Mid night 1:30 am
Naira closed her laptop completing her work. She looked up and saw Kartik sleeping in sitting posture.
Naira didn't say anything. She just got up and turned off the lights. She laid on the mattress and slept.
Morning 5:30 am
Kartik woke up from his sleep. He saw Naira sleeping peacefully. Kartik went near Naira and kissed on her forehead.
"I'm sorry na SHERNI. Please forgive your Frog Prince." Kartik said teary eyed.
He got up and went out of the room.
After few minutes,Naira woke you. She touched her forehead. She felt Kartik's touch. She brushed off her feelings.
She took her clothes and went to washroom. She took bath and came out.
She directly went to kitchen. She made oats for herself. She saw Swarna coming to kitchen.
"Naraaz ho Maa se?" Swarna asked in hope that Naira will say something.
Naira remained silent. She left with her oats bowl.
Naira settled on the sofa and started eating her breakfast. After eating her oats,Naira went back to kitchen and washed the bowl.
Swarna and Surekha were making breakfast. The oil pan fell from the stove. The hot oil fell on Swarna's foot. Swarna shouted in pain.
"Maa!!!" Naira shouted.
Naira held Swarna who was abt to fall. She took Swarna out. Everyone came there.
Naira made Swarna sit on the sofa.
"Luv Kush bring the ointment." Naira told Luv Kush.
"Bring cold water and a soft towel too." She added.
Surekha brought water. Luv brought ointment.
Naira was sitting on floor. She held Swarna's feet and cleaned it with cold water. She gently caressed the burn with soft towel.
Swarna smiled seeing Naira's care for her. She was happy that Naira again called her Maa.
Naira applied ointment on Swarna's burn. She got up and went to her room.
Silence is the worst killer.
Is this start of new relation? Will everything get fine between Naira and Kartik? Will Naira forgive Kartik and Swarna?
