Another Chance

I was awake for quite awhile seeing as I couldn't fall back asleep. A nurse came in to do a quick checkup on me since I was awake and she quietly left to not disturb the others that were sleeping in the room.

I was laying on down while counting the amount of dots on the ceiling when I felt shifting to my left. I looked to see that Taehyung was slowly beginning to awaken in between Jungkook and Jimin. When he did, his eyes fluttered open and looked around a bit until his brown orbs met with mine.

He just stared back at me for a few seconds as the gears worked in his head until he gave me his bright and cheerful boxy smile. I smiled back at him and quietly said, " I forgive you. " I could see how his eyes teared up at my words and I gently reached out my free hand and pat his head like he was a little kid.

He giggled through his tears as I wiped them away when they fell down his cheeks. I sighed and said, " Don't cry, I hate seeing you guys cry. Especially because of me. Smile. Smile because it's over now. " He slowly nodded and smiled sadly as I continued wiping away his tears.

Suddenly, my stomach grumbled and I turned red out of embarrassment. Taehyung laughed as I moved my arm to cover my stomach at an attempt to silence it. He then stood up and said, " I'm gonna go and get us some food okay? By the time I get back everybody else should be up. " I nodded and waved him goodbye until I was engulfed in darkness again.

Taehyung was right however since right after he had left, Jungkook stirred in his uncomfortable position and soon opened his eyes tiredly. Once he rigid greed that I was awake and staring at him, he excitedly shook Jimin awake. Jimin however, wasn't on Jungkook's side since he just pushed away Jungkook's hands and went back to sleep.

I laughed and gently reached out my hands to poke his soft cheeks. He swat away my hand and I laughed which had caused him to open one eye as he stared at me. I just looked at him before I tilted my head to the right a bit. As I did that, I was suddenly pulled into a bone crushing hug from him and Jungkook.

I let out a small laugh before I pat their heads and said, " C-can't breath....g-guys. " They quickly pulled away and apologized as I steadied my breathing and forgave them. Then, a smirk adorned Jungkook's face as he whispered a plan to Jimin who then whispered it to me.

We put the plan into action once I had gotten myself into a lying down position while Jimin covered me with the bedsheet that was used as a blanket. I then heard rustling until Jimin and Jungkook's voices said, " Hyungs! She didn't make it! We lost her! "

I heard more rustling followed by many disappointed voices speaking. I then heard sobbing and I couldn't help but forget the plan as I quickly sat up and shouted/asked, " Who's crying!? " Hoseok who was right in front of me screamed as I had scared him and I quickly saw a crying Yoongi and a sniffling Yuri.

Without thinking, I immediately launched myself forward and wrapped my arms around Yoongi who happened to be right next to Hoseok. I gently ran my fingers through his hair and said calming words to him until he had stopped crying. He then looked up at me shocked and said, " I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I hurt you and didn't believe you. "

I just shook my head and said, " Don't apologize. You were tricked by lies because you were scared. You didn't know which way to go. " I then released him and then hugged Yuri tightly. She gasped before she burst into tears and continuously apologized.

I just smiled and leaned back a bit to gently wipe away her tears and to comb my fingers through her hair. I couldn't help but give her a gentle kiss on the forehead before I said, " It's okay, Yuri. You were just scared. I know how it feels. You were afraid that I'd steal everybody from you because that's what always happens. But I promise that I won't do that. You don't deserve it. "

She sobbed even harder and I smiled gently at her as she continued apologizing and said, " I'm sorry, I didn't m-mean to...be so mean to you. I-I was just so scared...that no one would l-love me anymore. " I smiled and nodded at her before I gently pet her head and said, " It's okay. I know how it feels to be scared because of being forgotten. I've felt that so many times but now, I know that won't ever happen. Some very beautiful people have shown me how important family is. And now I know. "

I gently pulled away from her as I felt a burning pain form in my side but I hid my pain so they didn't have to worry. Soon enough, everybody had calmed down and Taehyung walked inside with his hands full with bags carrying food. Everybody thanked him and we all ate generously.

After everybody finished eating, we were all joking around and having fun like a regular family. I couldn't help but smile and think that I'd give them another chance. They didn't choose to make the mistakes they did. They were just scared and sometimes fear can ruin the most important factor in a family. Love.
