Regret

I was in a dark room. Everything around me was black. Just pitch darkness everywhere I looked. Suddenly a small dot of light caught my attention. I hesitantly walked towards it as I squinted my eyes. I continued on walking when I was suddenly inside a white room that seemed to glow.

Suddenly familiar voices gently called out my name from behind me. I turned around and saw the faces I had wished to see everyday. I choked out a sob and ran into the warm embrace of my parents. I cried into their shoulders as they gently rubbed my back.

I had calmed down slightly in a few seconds when suddenly my mother held me by the shoulders and said, " Go sweetie. It's not your time yet. Go. And know that we will always love you and will always be watching over you. " I looked at her confused when suddenly I noticed that they were both, slowly, dissappearing. I shook my head and screamed out for them as they shook their heads.

My mother gave me a gentle kiss on the forehead before they both disappeared completely. I was engulfed by the darkness again when I felt a strong force pull me. I felt a heavy pang in my chest as a strong wind blew past me and I was blinded by another light.

I suddenly jolted forwards and held onto my chest tightly while taking deep breaths. Once I calmed down, I took a look around and realized that I was in a hospital room. I could hear the monitor to my right beeping along with the rhythm of my heart. I felt something heavy in my ribs and noticed all of the wires I was hooked up to.

Suddenly the door burst open and there stood many people. They all rushed inside the room and began inspecting me. A doctor came forward and began checking all of my wires before checking my heart beat. He nodded back at the others behind him and said, " She's okay. I think we might've lost her again but she came back. " The others nodded and sighed deeply behind him.

The doctor gave me another quick check up before asking, " Do you perhaps know how you got into this state? " I nodded and the doctor signaled me to continue on. " Last I remember, I was at school and I had gotten into a fight with my adopted sister. She had said extremely rude and mean stuff about our guardians to everyone in the school and I had gotten mad. We began fighting during lunch and her friends held me back as she slapped me. Then when I tackled her down again, one of her friends kicked me twice really hard with her heels that I think it may have broken a rib and hit a bone in my leg. "

The doctor nodded and said, " Ok, now I understand. And you were right. Her kick had broken one of your ribs so we had to replace it. Her kick also cut your leg so we had to do stitches. " I nodded and as he was about to leave, I stopped him and asked, " Wait, what day is it? "

The doctor turned back around and said, " It's March 23rd. You've been out for 3 weeks. If you also wanted to know, you may have died 3 times but we've managed to save you twice while you saved yourself. " With that he turned back around and walked away.

I sat there wide eyed as he walked away. I had been asleep for an entire 3 weeks!? And I had died 3 times!? Dang it. That also means that I'll have a lot of homework to catch up on. Crap. I allowed myself to fall back down onto the bed and let out a deep breath I didn't know I was holding.

-Time Skip-

The next day the doctor allowed me to be released from the hospital. I just signed myself out, since nobody was gonna pick me up anyways, and walked home since I had nothing other than a pair of clothes the hospital offered me. I had found my way home once I remembered which part of town I was in and knocked on the door.

The door opened to a wide eyed J-Hope. He scanned me up and down and just stood there silent until he was suddenly tackled down by Jimin. Jimin was laughing until he looked up at me the exact same way J-Hope did. I gave them a confused look when all of our attention was caught by a yelling Jin.

" Who the heck burnt my favorite pot! Whoever did is gonna-Y/n? " He looked over at me for three whole seconds before I was suddenly pulled into a hug. I winced as Jin, J-Hope, and Jimin hugged me tightly while crying. I stood there uncomfortable when I spotted a curious RM and Jungkook. When they saw me, their eyes widened and I mouthed a 'help'. They seemed to get the message and rushed over to pry the three men off of me.

Once I was free, Jungkook slammed the front door shut and pushed us all into the living room. He had us sit down as RM went to go find the others.

Once everyone was forced inside the living room, there was an awkward silence. The bitch was surprisingly silent as she nervously picked at her pink skirt and stared everywhere else other than the guys and me. The guys all looked drained and tired with bags and dark circles under their pinkish red eyes. I furrowed my brows and asked, " Okay, can someone please explain? I am lost because I just came home from the hospital and you guys are a mess. "

Jin sighed deeply and looked over to me before holding my shoulders and asking, " You're here right? I'm not imagining it right? You're not a ghost? " I nodded slowly as he let out a shaky breath and suddenly burst into tears. He hugged me close to him as I awkwardly pat his back before Jimin pried him off of me to comfort him while RM spoke. " Y/n what the hell happened? How are you here? " He asked.

I shrugged and said, " Well, there was the fight at school and some girl kicked me with her heels which broke my ribs and cut my leg. Then there was the whole conflict thingy where you all didn't want to hear or believe what I said and about what really happened. Then I was walking in the halls at school to get home when my leg gave out on me and I fell. Then I couldn't breathe or move, it was like I was frozen or paralyzed. After that I just remembered blacking out and then seeing my parents who told me not to leave. That it wasn't my time. Then they disappeared while a strong gust of wind blew me and I jolted forward ending up in a hospital. I was then crowded by doctors and nurses while one doctor told me that I was passed out for 3 weeks and that I had basically died 3 times. Then I was forced to walk home which leads to right now. "

They all slowly nodded before RM turned to the bitch and asked, " Yuri, did you tell us the truth about Y/n actually dying at the hospital? " She gulped and shook her head while RM sighed and said, " Tell us the truth. " She sighed and said, " Fine! I'll tell the fucking truth. When you guys had me go check on her she really was dying. I was too lazy to check and see if the doctors saved her before I went back and told you that she was dead! Happy? "

They all slowly nodded their heads and sighed deeply while RM asked, " Is there anything else that you'd like to say? " She shook her head quickly as I scowled at her. Of course she wouldn't tell them the rest of the truth. RM nodded while V sighed, clearly getting annoyed, and turned to me and asked, " What really happened? "

I smiled at him while nodding and saying, " Well what really happened, and caused all of this, was that the bitch sitting over there basically told the entire school about how she doesn't give a shit about you guys and how she only cares about your money. She also gave your numbers to her fake friends and a few other random people. She also spoke about how she was all you guys cared about and how she was the only thing everybody should focus on. I had gotten mad and tackled her down before slapping her because if I'd hit her then I knew that you'd be pissed because she was so 'precious'. Then her friends helped her out and one kicked me in the ribs and leg with her heels after I tackled the bitch down when she had slapped me. Then the principal came and blamed me for all of it which led to you guys getting pissed off at me rather than the one faking her injuries. "

Once I finished, I let out a deep breath and nodded. When I looked up all of their eyes were wide while the bitch's eyes glared at me. I glared right back at her. Suddenly my hands were being held by Jin who was suddenly sat down in front of me. He cried into my hands and said, " Please forgive us Y/n. Please forgive me. I regret everything I had done. Please just forgive me. "

I sighed as the others copied him. I nodded and said, " I'll forgive you. But just know that if this happens again then I won't think twice about leaving you right then and there. "
