 "are you sure you don't want to wait until next year like your friends?" Minato Namikaze asked his 6 year old son

"Tou-san~" Naruto looked at his father " I can do this I'm a big boy now and if i want to be hokage I want to start as soon as possible"

what were they talking about you may ask well naruto wanted to unlock his chakra already and minato was making sure this was really what he wanted instead of waiting till he was 7 when his friends where doing it.

"alright alright I just wanted to be sure......but if you want I ca use my chakra to make the process easier"

"Noooo! I can do this on my own"Naruto looked down" But you know...... you could stay close to me just in case"

Minato chuckled at his son's adorableness and ruffled his hair "Alright naruto let's begin"

Naruto nodded and made the Ram seal closing his eyes and concentrated and finding the blue light that was supposed to be his chakra sweat trickled down his face and he was getting impatient taking a deep breath he began to search even farther felt the warmth his chakra provided pulling on it a light engulfed his body and once it was over he opened his eyes smiling He did it! he unlocked his chakra!

Minato chuckled at the excitement on his son's eyes at the moment minato was feeling pride for his son after all not many people unlocked their chakra on the first try 

"alright son let's go home" he said as he began to carry his son bridle style

The journey back to their house was not that long considering that minato was the yellow flash it only took like a minute soon naruto was woken by his father telling him to change before he went to rest the rest after that was a blur and soon the only thing naruto knew was that his father was tucking him in saying kissing him on the forehead telling him 

"goodnight my little ball of sunshine"

"goodnight daddy"
