Chapter 3:Take a Chill Pill

When I got home I decided to take a relieving shower to calm my nerves. I had gotten into a argument with my dad before I got in the shower. Gosh he gets under my skin. So does a lot of other people, that needs to change. I laid back onto my bed after putting on some shorts and a T shirt from my old cheer team. Yeah I used to be the captain of the cheer team until I got kicked off the team by the principle because of my suspension for beating one of my teammates ass. They deserved it but I miss cheer so much. I walked over to my window and could see light on from next door. That place had been vacant for a few months. The last people moved out because they said it was haunted but I'm pretty sure that's a lie. I quickly looked out front only to see a Uhaul truck. Who could be moving next door? And especially at this time at night. I glanced at the clock only to see that it was 11:36. Whoa.

I laid back down in bed to clear my mind but couldn't stop thinking about how close me and Ethan were. We were just centimeters away from kissing! I couldn't kiss Ethan! There's no way I'd be kissing him, even if I didn't hate him it still wouldn't have happened. I mean the guys a player. Oh! And don't even get me started on what happened two years ago! I started getting deeper and deeper in my sleep until I completely knocked out.

I woke up with the sound of whispering outside my door. I opened my eyes to take a quick peek but quickly regretted it once I saw who was at my door talking with my mom.

"What are you doing here?!" I shot up from my bed and shouted at him.

"Relax. I just came by to say hi." Ethan replied calmly.

"How do you even know wh-" my mom cut me off.

"Leah be nice to Ethan. He's our new neighbour so you two need to get along. I'll be chatting with his mom downstairs." My mom explained to me before mouthing the words 'be nice'. She walked out then I got up and looked out the window.

"So cutie pie, wanna hang out today?" I glanced back at him and gave him a nasty glare. he just gave me a big toothy smile before I rolled my eyes. I started looking around my room to make sure my diary had been no where in sight. Lucky for me it wasn't. I looked back up at Ethan only to see him looking at the pictures on my walls of me with my family and friends.

"Depends on what we would do." I replied not quick enough for him to shoot his head towards me.

"Well I mean we still have to go to school but you wanna hang out there and then I don't know. Will you help me unpack?" Shit! I totally forgot we had school! I shot my head towards my clock to realise it was 7:15. School starts at 8:30 but everyone has to be in class by 8:20.

"Damn!" I shot out of bed and quickly ran to the bathroom and locked the door. I hopped in the shower and came out with a towel around me. I got back in my room to only find it empty. Wonder where he went? I scanned my closet and changed into some black shorts with a Indian brown belt around them. I threw on my white V neck t shirt the was fitted perfectly around my torso. I glanced at the clock to realise it 7:45. Good. I quickly blow dried and loosely curled my hair in 10 minutes. I did my makeup in another 5 minutes and grabbed my purse and keys. I made one last look at the mirror to make sure I was looking good. I threw on some socks and sneakers before jogging downstairs.

I walked into the kitchen to find Ethan, my mom, and a gorgeous woman that looked like Ethan's mom.

"Oh no worries about driving to school sweetie. Ethan offered to take you." Ethan's mom said with a gorgeous smile. It looked like Ethan's but more feminine. I nodded before pulling out a bottle of Sunny D. I completely love Sunny D. I know, I know I'm 17 years old and still drinking juice as a 10 year old but I honestly don't give a damn how old I am. I looked back at Ethan and he moved his head in a way to tell me let's go. I said goodbyes as I got into Ethan's car. It was beautiful. It was a black mustang with amazing rims. It wasn't the first time I had seen Ethan's car though. I saw it occasionally at school and yesterday at the mall.
