(Ethan)

"Leah! Wait!" After I expressed my feelings Leah just took off running. I have no idea why though. She wasn't crying and she didn't seem angry or mad at me.

I got up and started chasing after her but it was so hard to catch up to her with this party being full of people. I can't even see her now.

"Hey Ethan! Lets dance!" Dayna said as she threw her arms over my shoulders almost falling. Dayna's my ex-girlfriend from 6 months ago. We dated for a couple weeks but then she got all clingy and jealous even when I barely glanced at a girl.

"Not now Dayna. I don't have time for this." I tried to pry her off of me but when I did she stumbled so I had to catch her before she fell and busted her head open on the table behind her.

"Okay then let's skip the dancing and go upstairs!" She shouted over the music and then came close. "Come on Ethan you and I always used to have fun." She whispered then bit my ear seductively. I couldn't say it didn't feel good but it wouldn't be right considering I still had to find Leah. Leah! Shit!

"No Dayna stop!" I gently set her down on the couch and started looking around. I couldn't see anything until I saw Josh grinding on her. What the fuck?! I ran over there angrily but when I came closer it was more clear. Josh wouldn't let her go and knowing he was doing that he was probably drunk.

"Josh get off! I don't want your slimy slug lips on me! And stop dancing on me!" Leah was trying to push him away but she couldn't because his buddies were surrounding her so she couldn't move.

"C'mon honey you know-"

"Hey! Leave her alone!" I cut Josh off and he just looked at me like he was about to go Hulk status on my ass. Lucky for me I'm stronger than him. A lot, stronger than him.

"What the fuck are you gonna do about it?" Gosh I hate when drunk guys think they can finally handle a guy that's beaten their ass before but still gets their face kicked in. I walk over to him face to face. Noses almost touching.

"Leave. Her. Alone." I said through a clenched jaw and balled up fists.

"Come on guys we don't need gutter-slut and her boyfriend sewage hair to bother us." And with that they walked off. I turned to face Leah but she was gone. Fuck! How the hell does she do that?!

I walked outside to see multiple people throwing up on sidewalks and front yards. Then I saw her. Laying in grass and it looks like she's waiting for a ride.

Breathe in. Breathe out....Still screwed. I walked over to her but she didn't notice me. I laid down beside her and her eyes opened. She knew I was here now yet we stood in silence for a 5 minutes. I finally looked over at her to see her looking at me.

"Why'd you run off?" I decided to just ask her because I'm not good at easing into conversations.

"I don't know." She looked back at the sky biting her lip in the process. I was still looking at her and admiring her beauty. My thoughts were cut off with police sirens. Shit.

"You two kids!" A police officer grabbed Leah off the ground and started walking towards the car. I tried to put up a fight with him but then got cuffed and put into the same car. Leah didn't seem bugged about it so I relaxed.

When we got to the police station we saw a lot of other people from the party there also. They put us in a holding cell until our parents arrived. Supposably we were under the influence. Pshhh I don't recall being under 21. Before I said anymore a police officer unlocked the cell telling me to step out. My mom looked upset but it's not the first time it's happened so she didn't seem too mad.
