(Leah)
It's Friday now and everyone's talking. Either about Ricky's party tonight or about me and Ethan. We kept saying we were a couple to get Josh to back off which he did and I'm glad for that. But now everyone's looking at me weird or with a disgusted look like I'm a smelly gym sock.
"Do you know what you're wearing tonight?" Hali beamed catching my attention.
"Yeah I got my outfit picked out. Its nothing special though. Come over after school?" She nodded in agreement as we parted our ways for period 1. She had Maths when I had English and I had Maths when she had English. It was like they didn't want me to see my best friend. I had no classes with her which completely sucks.
"Morning sunshine." Ethan said as he rounded the corner coming into view.
"Sup."
"Oh come on it was one little argument you can't stay mad at me." Yesterday Ethan and I were in the hallway holding hands to make our relationship more real when some girl called me a slut and Ethan agreed with her to piss me off.
"Not now Ethan." I said looking at Mr. McCarthy walking into class.
"It was a joke and you know that. I was just messing come on forgive me." Ethan stopped in front of me causing me to a halt and having to look at him.
"I told you it was fine and I'm over it." I said nonchalantly trying to get to my desk.
"That's a lie and you know it come on Leah." He looked desperate, really desperate.
"Fine I forgive you." He smiled like he always does when he achieved something. I've been with him all week and I'm kinda starting to not hate him anymore. I mean he stood up for me, he constantly gives me real compliments, and he always tries his best to make me smile when I'm angry or sad. I can officially say that he's a friend.
"Yeah so where's your 50 bucks?" Remembering the deal that Ethan said once I agreed to go to Ricky's party.
"You'll get it once you show up. That way I don't give it to you and you don't show up."
"You really think I'm that childish? Do you not understand we're seniors?"
"Yes I understand that smart ass." Ethan said while giving me a playful glare.
"Mr. Jones and Miss Yeckley do we have an issue?" Oh no here we go again.
"I don't know do we?" I asked giving a bit more attitude than I thought.
"I don't understand Miss Yeckley you've been behaving all week and now you decide to act up?" He said walking towards my desk.
"I don't act up you just irritate the shit out of me and I just end up saying things that nobody else knows about you with a few curse words added in." I crossed my arms over my chest and leaned back in my chair.
"Leah do I have to get the principal?"
"I don't know do you need your back shaved again? Or will you have Mr. Bakers do that for you this time?" I smirked a bit.
"Leah I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be saying that if your brother was here right now." That's it! He crossed the line!
"SHUT YOUR GOD DAMN MOUTH YOU NO GOOD PIECE OF SHIT CUNT! I SEE WHY YOUR WIFE LEFT YOU NOW! YOU'RE JUST A FILTHY BASTARD WHO CAN'T SEEM TO GET HIS HEAD OUT OF HIS ASS OR SHOULD I SAY THE PRINCIPALS ASS BECAUSE YOU WANT TO BE THERE DON'T YOU?! YOU ALSO WANT TO GO SUCK HIS LITTL-" Just then I felt two arms pull me out of the room.
"Leah what's wrong with you? I've never seen you act like that. What's going on?" Ethan rubbed my shoulders trying to get me to calm down.
"I can't do this." I ran back in and grabbed myself only to run back out and out of the school.
