(Leah)

Zach left when I told him I needed to get ready. I started on blow drying my hair and putting it up so it would stay out of my face as I do my makeup.

I washed my face and added some coverup and powder. I lightly caressed my eyelids with a brush containing of a natural color eyeshadow. I took a different, more smaller brush and patted it into a medium-dark brown color. I blended it together with a light- medium brown eyeshadow. I quickly drew on a wings with eyeliner and added some at the bottom. I finally put on a light layer of mascara and blush.

I let my hair down and pinned half of it up to curl the bottom. I let a layer down each time I was done to continue to add more curls. By the time I was done with my hair it was now 5:47.

I changed into some light blue ripped jeans and a grey muscle shirt. Over that I put a black loosely fitted shirt that hung off both shoulders. I added a golden bracelet my mother gave me last year, a long heart necklace, and a chain that Darren gave me I was 14.

I heard the door bell ring and quickly yelled to my mom to get it. I put a hoodie, a few tampons, my wallet, keys, sunglasses, and phone in my purse. I put on a little bit of lotion on my hands because they felt a bit dry. They always get dry when I'm nervous.

I grabbed my purse and jogged downstairs to see Luke. He looked amazing. He was wearing blue jeans, a white V-Neck, a chain with a cross on it hanging from his neck and some black chucks. His hair was slick over but casual. In all honesty he was drop dead sexy.

"Ready to go?" He asked kindly. I nodded and said a quick good-bye to my parents. Now we were in the car on the way to carnival with the radio on but lowered. He turned to me to flash me a toothy grin.

"What?" I asked a bit more girly than I intended to. He shook his head and looked forward again still smiling. I knew I wasn't gonna get the answer out of him so I tried to enjoy the ride. But then it was ruined a car almost hit us and Luke had to slam on the brakes.

He held his right hand out to make sure I didn't go forward and hit my head.

"Are you okay? I'm sorry about that asshole." I fixed my hair a bit and smiled. " I'm fine and at least you tried to make sure I was safe." He smiled back.

"Wouldn't want a pretty girl to get hurt." I smiled even more. We drove off and started heading towards the school again.

We ended up getting here within a few minutes or so. When Luke park I recognized the black mustang with tinted windows next to us, Ethan's car. I rolled my eyes in disgust and walked around to see Luke. He held out his hand so I kindly grabbed it.

We walked a little and went on a few rides which was really fun until I saw Zach.

"Hey Little Frog."

"Hey Fat Gorilla." I retorted.

"Come on why do I always have to be Fat Gorilla? Why can't I be like.....King Monkey!" Zach said snapping his fingers at the thought of it. I just turned to him and he could already read my mind. He slumped down and said a quick 'whatever' before we all started walking off.

"Leah!" Tyler said running up to me and engulfing me in a tight hug. I just giggled a bit before he set me down. "Hey Ty what's up?"

"Gawd I've been so bored and I've been waiting for you to come and insult people so I can just laugh." He gave me a toothy smile and lightly hit him.

"Where is everyone?" Luke slid his hand back into mine. I didn't even realize we stopped holding hands. But I'm glad we got back to that.

"Bailey and Trevor went on the Ferris Wheel, Hali and Ricky went to go play carnival games cause Hali kept complaining that she wanted stuffed animals, Evan and Jake have been playing a stupid shooting game because Jake believes he can beat Evan." Tyler chuckled after and then looked at my face and returned with a confusing one.
