Chapter 31

Sophie POV

"Okay, so you will be leaving today. We already have everything you will need at the house. Are you ready to go?" Emery asked. Fitz and I nodded. He then pulled out a blue pathfinder and I let the warmth pull us away.

When we got there I couldn't help but gawk at the house. Sure it was considered small by Elvin standers but it was modern and sleek.

"This will be where you will be staying," Emery said smiling at our awestruck faces. "Everything you will need is already inside in its proper spot." Emery continued. He then handed us each an imparter. "We do we need this" Fitz asked. "This imparter will alert us that it is a very important call. It will just even your chances will pick up" Emery said. "Why don't we go in and I can show you inside," He said and led us up the pathway.

We then entered the house Emery pointed to a sleek white bench and said "This is where all your shoes are. Now follow me to the kitchen/living room".  

After he gave us a whole tour of the basement, first, and second floor Emery led us to the third floor. Where our bedrooms would be. First, he showed us Fitz's room. It wad painted a deep gray color with a furry white rug, big windows, a bunch of plants, a white comforter, and a massive closet. He even had a flatscreen TV and his own bathroom, complete with a waterfall shower. Then Emery showed us my room. My room was exactly like Fitz's except my walls were painted white and I had a deep gray comforter. 

"Well that should complete the tour," Emery said leading us back down to the living room. "We will have your information sent to this thing," Emery said pointing to the flat screen TV in the living room. "Anything else?" Fitz asked. "Oh yes here you go," Emery said handing us the latest model of phones. "Do know how to work this human stuff?" Emery asked me and I nodded. "Great well I should be on my way. Your school will start tomorrow at nine" Emery said pulling out his pathfinder and he glittered away.

"This place is AWESOME," Fitz said. "I know," I said and turned to walk up the stairs. " Wait" Fitz yelled thundering up the stairs. When he finally caught up to me he asked: "Can you tell me about all this human stuff and how to work it?" I nodded and we entered the room and sat on my bed. It is really comfy, I am going to get a good sleep. "So how do you work the phone?" Fitz asked. So I explained to him all the little features and we practiced calling and texting.

"I think you got it," I said after he called me a couple times. "Now let's teach you about the TV," I said dragging him back to his room. I taught him how to turn it on and change channels by the time we were done it was time for dinner. "Do you know what you want for dinner?" I asked Fitz. "Can we have Chinese food?" He asked and I nodded. "How do you know about Chinese food," I asked. "Oh Dex and I had a sleepover and we watched his mom's human movies." He said with a smile. I am so glad Dex got over his crazy Vacker prejudice. So I went downstairs to the office and looked up 'Chinese food near me'. Then I ordered us our meals. When they came we ate dinner then went to bed. "Night" Fitz yelled. "Night" I yelled back and then drifted off to sleep.
