Chapter 32

Sophie POV

"Fitz, wake up! Time to go to school" I said shaking Fitz awake. He groaned a little but got up. Together we went downstairs for breakfast. "What do you want to eat?" I ask "Uh let us make something human." Fitz replied. "Alright I will teach you how to make waffles," I said and started looking for the ingredients. "Alright so first you turn on the stove," I said showing Fitz how to turn on the stove. After that, I told him each step and all that stuff. Then we cooked our pancakes. 

"Yum, those were delicious," Fitz said licking his lips. I nodded in agreement. "Come on we need to get ready," I said looking at the oven clock. So we went up to our rooms and changed.

I wore a yellow floral shirt with black sweatpants. Fitz wore a fitted black shirt that showed off his muscles and gray sweatpants. "You ready?" I asked when he walked down the stairs. He nodded then asked "Are we walking?" and then I nodded. We put our shoes on and grabbed our backpacks. " Oh remember to block out thoughts unless you need help" I said as we headed out the door. On the way, I explained more human stuff. When we got there we to the office to get our schedules. " Welcome you two must be Sophie and Fitz he said fishing in his desk for some papers. "Here are your schedules." he said handing us each two pieces of paper. "And if you need anything just contact me" he said with a genuine smile.

" Were is your locker?" I ask Fitz. "Um it is number 204" he said looking at his paper. "Do you know where that is?" I ask and he nods. Which made me a little surprised. "I am right here" he said pointing towards a bright orange locker. "Fitz we are no where close to each other so meet me at the bathrooms" I say and he gives me a quick nod. 

When I got to my locker I put in the code and started taking out the books the Council gave us. "Hey princess, my name is Zack" I heard a voice say. So I turn my head to see a group of about five boys. The one I the middle was the one who spoke. He had brown red hair and grey eyes. Uh the popular boys. What do they want? " What do you want" I snapped. For a moment Zack looked takin aback but quickly changed it to a smirk. "Oh fiesty I like it" Zack said and I roll my eyes. "Listen you and me ditch class" Zach said leaning against the locker beside me. I made sure I had everything I needed and all my books away before I said "I don't hang out with trash" then I stalked off towards the bathrooms. 

When I got there I found Fitz waiting patiently. " What took you so long" Fitz asked. "Uh some dud trying to ask me on a date" I say with a huff. "Yeah the, well what I am assuming are the popular girls also tried to ask me to make out or something along those lines" Fitz said with a look of grimace but I couldn't help but let out a chuckle. He just glared at me and said "Let's get to class".
