And that's it; once it's done it can't be taken back. He kisses me back hungrily, knocking us both to the floor.
His lips are soft and sweet and my body quivers as he runs his hands up and down the curves of my hips. Every touch sending tingles into my body.
I pull away from him and sit up. "I can't do this, I really can't do this."
"What is it about him?" Brandon asks, still laying on the floor behind me.
"What do you mean?" I say, turning to look at him. BIG MISTAKE, because as soon as I look into his sad hazel eyes, I'm caught and drowning.
"My whole life Nick has always been better than me, I mean every aspect of him is just..." He sighs.
I look at him, waiting for him to finish.
"I'm not Nick, I'll never be like him. I'm a screw up. Every name that has ever been thrown at me I know I deserve but..."
"Brandon..." I say softly but he interrupts me.
"No listen to me , please. You should be with my brother that's who you deserve to be with, he loves you and I know that he can treat you better but..." He lets out this frustrated sigh. "I NEED you."
At his words, my eyes start to water.
"I need your green eyes, I need your angry face, I need your warmth I need your kisses. I don't know, maybe it's because you're the only one who's ever really been there and listens. and I probably sound really stupid right now but...what I'm trying ask you is, if you'll stay with me."
I nod frantically and then take him into my arms.
"I promise that I'll always be here for you ok?" I say, looking into his eyes. When he nods, I kiss him more hungrily then I've ever kissed anyone before.
"I love you." He whispers against my lips.
I say these next four words with no regrets. "I love you too."
Nick's POV:
"I love you too." I her say on the other side of the door.
My heart feels like it's been torn in a million pieces.
She told him what she couldn't tell me. I let myself sink down to the floor.
This isn't fair, he can't just take her from me like that . I loved her way before him, she was mine.
I close my eyes and let out a deep sigh.
This isn't over Brandon, she's mine, she belongs with me.....
