Chapter 11 - I love you

Haley's POV

I wake up. The sun is shining directly at me. Its quiet, and i look around. I have a blanket on top of my... Naked body. That's right. Michael was here and i must have fallen asleep. Where is he now?

- "Michael" i call out.

No answer. I sigh and get up and wrap the blanket around me before walking around, in the kitchen, back again into the livingroom.
- "MICHAEL" call out again, a bit louder. Suddenly i hear footsteps coming from upstairs and down the stairs.
- "Sorry, i hope you didn't mind I took a shower"
Michael is standing in the stairs, just a towel around his waist, and with water dripping from his black curls and down his chocolate skinned body. I have seen him naked a thousand times, but hm, there are just something really sexy about him now. I bite my lips, staring at his body..
- "Hales?"
I snap out of my thoughts and remember what he said.
- "Oh yeah, i mean of course i don't mind that at all" i reply and look down at the ground.
- "Good, ill just get dressed and come down in a few second"
- "Sure, take your time dude" i smile and go back to the couch. I collect my clothes. He already has his, of course. I run to my bedroom to get dressed. Even though i need a shower as well, ill just take one later.

I put on a white tank top, and some blue denim jeans. My hair is loose, and i have no makeup on. I walk downstairs again and wait for him. He comes down just a few seconds after.

Michael's POV

I know i heard right last night. She said I love you, but i am not sure if she knows what she said. Should I tell her if she remembers?.
- "So, what are you doing today?" She asks me.
- "Not sure yet, but Hales, ehm.. You know last night right?"
She nods her head. - "what about it?"
- "Well, when we were finished, and you come to lay with me on the couch, you said something before you fell asleep"
- "And what was that?" She asks, confused.
- "You said, i love you"
Her face is shocked. - "Nah, you must have heard wrong, i mean i love you, as a friend, but eh, i cannot remember saying that!" She looks frusturated.
- "I am pretty sure thats what you said"
- "Oh well" she mumbles and looks away.
- "But maybe it was just your hormons, since you are pregnant"
- "Maybe" she mumbles again and still looks away.

I would not be angry if she had feelings for me, but i still dont know my feelings for her. When she turns kind of angry about this, does that mean she feels something for me ?
- "But I wont bother you anymore" i say and walk towards the door. She rushes over to me.
- "No, Mike you are not bothering me" she touches my arm and look me deeply in my eyes. I look in her beautiful blue eyes and smile.
"Come, lets go to my place for a while?" I ask.
"Sure!!" She grins.

We arrive at my place and we step out of my car before walking inside.
- "Mikey, where have you been?" I hear a tiny voice coming from the kitchen. I spot her blond hair, Lisa. She comes towards us. Her face turns angry as she sees Haley.
- "I was out" i reply. She walks over to me and kisses me hard. Then she moves her hands roughly through my hair. I pull away and look at her. She looks disappointed when i pull away.
- "So, all night?" She asks and chuckles.
- "Yeah I was with a friend, I just stopped by Haley and took her to my place as you can see" I look at Hales.
She holds my hand and looks at Haley. "Well, What a good friend you are!"

Haley's POV

Ugh.. Lisa is so fake. I saw Michael didnt enjoy her kissing him. She just sends me ugly looks like I am trash.
- "But Mike, we have to talk about our wedding, we have not have time for it at all" she suddenly says, and give me a fake bitchy smile.
Hold on. Wedding? Are they getting married!? Is he really going to marry a stupid fake bitch?
Michael looks at me. I feel i am about to cry. I dont even know why. I dont have feelings for him.
-"You forgot to tell me that part Michael!" i take up my phone, pretending i got a text. I look back at them both. "But congrats, you make a lovely couple you know? I'll leave you two alone, I just got a text and I have to meet my friend" I smile and walk out the door. "Hal...." I hear Mike calling my name, but it is cut by me closing the door.
I start to run. Just run away from this situation. My tears starts falling down my face when I am far away from them.

Michael, it's true.. I love you.

So Haley couldnt keep it "in the closet" anymore as she finally admitted it to herself that she loves him. Too bad Michael doesn't know it!
