Michael's POV
Standing infront of her, makes me want to back out. Not because I want to go through with the marriage, but because it feels so awfull. It is the right thing though. I don't want her, I want Haley.
"Look Lisa, we gotta talk"
I take her hand and bring her with me to sit on the couch in my livingroom.
"What is it Mikey? I have to go soon, I can't miss my spa appointment" she says impatiently
I sigh. "This marriage thing, I can't go through with it" "and I think we should break up"
Her face expretion changes to sad.
"What Michael?" She gets up in angrement. "How can you say this? I thought we loved each other deeply" she starts crying. I get up to hold her but she pushes me away.
"No Mike, don't even try to touch me. I HATE you. And I know you are all into your friend, I can tell. No wonder you don't want this" she cries even more, raising her voice at me.
"I am sorry Lisa" i try to explain but she ain't listening. "I did love you, but you wanted to marry so fast. I ain't ready!"
She laughs suddenly. "You ain't ready?... My ass! You could have said so in the first place!"
I look at her dead serious. "Lisa.." She interrupts me. "Don't say my name. You and your whore deserve each other" She walk over to me and slap me on my face. "And I'll make sure, you will regret this"
Maybe I deserved that.
Then she turns around and walks out of my house. I take my hand to my face. Auch. That girl really knows how to slap! it hurts. I walk over to see in the mirror. And it is red. Great!
I text Haley asking her to come over. I need her company now. She texts back saying she is on her way!
"Hey" I say as I let her in. "what happened to your face?" she asks worried.
"Lisa" That should explain everything. I close the door behind her. She kicks off her shoes.
"Oh no Mike, I am so sorry" she touches my cheek. It hurts. "Auch" I groan in pain. She bites her bottom lip.
"Sorry sorry!"
"It is fine, It is my fault you know" I smile to her. "No, this is no one's fault but hers, she hit you"
"I know. But whatever"
Everything has happened so soon I feel. Suddenly I ain't getting married, I am having a baby and it's with Haley.
Author's note
Mike did break up with Lisa!! Good for him, now he can be with Haley. But he has not asked her anything yet. He was going to do it when he was single.. Wonder when he does, and what it is he will ask her.
