Turns out that the soft material I felt that was pressed on my head was actually a pillow and waking up to that realization disappointed me.

Although, the thought of falling asleep in Niall's arms in his own will made up for that disappointment I was feeling.

I find myself smiling once again with just the thought of Niall. He's such an easy person to get attracted to, though his attitude was not really perfect for first impressions.

I thought at first that he was a typical egoistic asshole that always gets what he wants but getting a few pieces of his soft side made me wonder what lead him to be what he is now.

"You seem happy," Mary states as I enter our dorm room.

"Hmm?" I snapped out of my daze, not losing the smile I held upon my lips.

She chuckled lightly, "Does this have something to do with a certain lad with blue eyes and blonde hair?" She smirked.

I playfully rolled my eyes at her, plopping down on my bed, "Maybe,"

As those words left my mouth, Mary's eyes went wide and her lips turned into a huge grin that could almost tear apart her cheeks, "Oh my gosh! I knew you liked him!"

I removed my shoes and tucked my feet under my legs, "I mean.. Uh.. Yeah, well, I guess I do like him," I could feel my cheeks turning red by now.

"But you know what else is exciting?!" She grinned even wider, which I thought was impossible, "I think he likes you back!" She exclaimed.

I haven't thought about Niall liking me back. I mean, sure he kissed me but it was only as a form of an escape. And yeah, he let me fall asleep in his arms but only because I was sick that time and he felt the need to make up for getting me worked up.

But the thought of Niall possibly liking me back sent butterflies fluttering wildly in my stomach.

"You really think so?"

"I know so!" She squealed, "This will be amazing! You and Luke are perfect together!"

I pulled my eyebrows together, staring at Mary in confusion until I realized that Luke was also blonde and had blue eyes.

"What? No- I- you thought I was talking about Luke?"

"Well.. Weren't you?"

"No," I quickly defended, "Gosh no, I mean, Luke is amazingly attractive and he's sweet but I honestly only see him as a friend and I'm pretty sure he feels the same,"

"Oh.. Well that killed my vibe but who-" she paused for a moment until her eyes went wide, "oh no! You can not be possibly talking about Niall, can you?"

"Uh... Is that bad?"

I don't know what gets them all worked up with Niall. I mean, he's a pretty decent guy when no one else is around. He's just broken and misunderstood.

"What do you mean 'is that bad?'?! Of course it is! Didn't we warn you that he's bad news?"

"Gosh, someone's been hanging out with my cousin too much," I was feeling a bit mad by now. They talk about Niall like he's some freak that had some rare contagious disease when in reality, he just needs someone to be there for him.

Mary sighed, "It's just that.. Niall isn't your typical bad boy who will change for a girl. He's different from the guys in books. And you're like a little sister to me now, I just don't want you to get hurt like the other girls he's victimized,"

"But I don't want him to change," Niall is already perfect to me the way he is, "And I'm just feeling a little infatuation towards him, It's not like we'll end up being together. And besides, I just want to help him out," I shrugged, forgetting about the anger I've built up moments ago.
