Paige had finally persuaded her mom to buy her tickets to Wyatt Mason's concert. It had been some long couple months since he announced his tour, but her mom eventually caved. Because Paige was now eighteen and graduated her mom agreed that she could just go with her best friend Madeline. Her mom had never really let her do anything that most teens do. She'd never been to a concert, or a party, or even an amusement park. Her parents were amazing but protective.

Paige's life had been dance classes and competitions, school, and family vacations, nothing in between. But now that she had graduated, Paige was more liberated than she's ever been, especially when her mom agreed to the concert. She couldn't stop screaming and telling her mom thank you. Of course, she immediately had to tell Madeline.

Paige and Madeline had been friends for years, ever since Madeline moved in right next door. When Paige had told Madeline, she had almost fainted. They had been talking about his concert for the past couple months. Both being completely in love with him, they had agreed to not ever fight over him about who loved him more. Paige of course knew that she loved him far more than Madeline but would never say that to her face.

Madeline had instantly walked over to Paige's house, and they looked at tickets. They went on various sites comparing prices when one had popped up with front row seats with a seventy-five percent discount. Paige screamed.

"WE HAVE TO GET THESE! LOOK AT THE PRCIE!", Paige said excitedly.

Paige looked over at Madeline and saw that she was crying with joy.

"Uh YES! Is that even a question?", Madeline asked.

With that response Paige added two front row seats to her cart and checked out in a hurry, so that there was no chance of losing those seats. Then seconds later after inserting her card number, she got the email confirmation with instructions to download an app where her tickets will be, ready to scan. She followed the steps so that they'd be ready for June twenty-eighth.

Then Madeline and Paige put their heads together and got their plan together. They had exactly eleven days until the concert. They quickly planned out what needed to be done before hand. They made their list, starting with haircuts.

Ever since they've been neighbors, they have gone to get their hair cut always at the same time. Their moms would usually go with them, and they'd make it a double mommy daughter date. But when they were twelve years old, Madeline had lost her mom to an unexpected stroke. Since then, Paige's mom would always take Madeline and her together as if she was Madeline's mom.

Madeline called the hairstylist and got her, and Paige scheduled for four o'clock that same day. They had three hours before that to continue with their plans.

Completing their list working around work schedules, Madeline's basketball workouts, and Paige's dance practices, they managed to fit everything in needing to look perfect for Wyatt Mason's concert.

At three thirty, Paige's mom, Samantha, called to the girls that it was time to leave if they didn't want to miss their appointment. The girls hurried to grab the notepad and their bags and scurried down the stairs into the car.

They were both so excited and they still didn't believe that this was happening to them. They made their way down downtown Loveland to the beauty salon where their favorite hairdresser was waiting for them.

Sean was already waiting for them with his two assistants Carrie and Tammie.

"Oh, my two favorite girls need an urgent hair appointment," Sean exaggerated, "but for what Mr. Sean doesn't know..."

Paige blushed slightly and Madeline shrugged her shoulders innocently. Then Samantha walked in greeting Sean and telling him about their little concert on the twenty-eighth. Paige's mom continued to talk to Sean while Carrie washed Paige's hair and Tammie washed Madeline's.
