Harry's POV

After the feast Dumbledore gave his usual speech and I zoned out. The kids sitting next to us were all american and they kind of bothered me. They had this heir of, I'm better than you, I've done more than you, now get out of my way, to them. It bothered me because I had definitely done more than them in my lifetime.

Hermione had the same kind of look on her face as the one I knew I had. Ron on the other hand was talking to them like they had been his life long friends. It was kind of annoying and I thought that maybe I would confront him about it, but not before I share my suspicions with Hermione.

The girl right next to me was Thalia. She was listening intently to the speech, so I decided I should too. Dumbledore asked if all the Americans could stay behind and if one of the prefects could wait outside for them. He then told the other prefect to escort everyone else to the common rooms.

We followed our prefect, Amanda Tillow, to the fat ladies portrait. The password was Purple Pit. I didn't get it, but we were inside. Ron and I said goodnight to Hermione and walked up to our room with Neville. There were three other four posters in the room. Mine was in between Ron's and Neville's.

Our other roomates came in around 20 minutes later looking slightly sad. It was Nico, Leo, and Jason. Nico just plopped down on his bed and fell asleep. Leo cracked a joke and Jason just shook his head and pulled his curtains around him and, from what I could assume, fell asleep. Leo stayed up a little longer, fidgeting with some sort of gadget before going to sleep.

Annabeth's POV

Percy and I hugged and talked for a bet longer after everyone had left. Then the prefects came in and told us we had to go. We hugged one last time, wished each other good night, and followed our prefects upstairs.

The prefect answered the riddle before the door could ever speak. Piper and Calypso were sitting on the couches, waiting to help me get to our room. We shared with one other girl. Her name was Luna and she was already asleep. Piper and Calypso went straight to sleep, but I couldn't. I pulled out a book and read until 12:00 am. Then I drifted into an uneasy sleep.

Percy's POV.

The Hufflepuff common room was underground by the kitchens. The password was Golden Pear. Frank and Will were in the common room waiting on me. I tried to tell them that they didn't have to, but they did it anyways. We climbed up the stairs to find a room to ourselves. Frank and Will went to sleep pretty quickly, but I stayed up finishing Hogwarts: A History. I know I don't seem like the type of person that reads a lot, but Annabeth had told me that maybe if I tried really hard hear, then I could experience what it was like to actually pass in school and I really wanted to make her proud. I finally went to bed around 12:30. But of course, it wasn't pleasant.

Piper's POV.

I woke up to someone shaking me around. I bolted up when I heard the screams. Calypso was the one shaking me and Luna had disappeared. Calypso told me that she had set a silencing charm up but it may not have been amazing.

Annabeth was in bed screaming and kicking frantically. Every now and then you could make out the words Percy don't leave me, but it was mainly just screaming. I checked the clock. It was 1:15. Calypso followed my gaze and said, "Luna woke me up about ten minutes ago saying that she had been screaming like that since 1. I tried to wake her up but she thrashed more when I got close so I decided to wake you up. Sorry."

I shrugged it off when I got an Iris Message from Hazel. "Percy screaming. He's almost knocked Frank out and none of us can wake him up. I tried to use the mist, but it still didn't work. He's been like this for about 30 minutes now." I gestured for Calypso to go get Dumbledore. She nodded and left.

"Have you used the silencing charm yet?" I asked Hazel.

"Yeah it was the first thing Will did once he woke up."

"Good." That's when I saw that Professor McGonagall was on the other side of the message and Calypso was back with Dumbledore. I slashed through the message, looking up at Dumbledore.

"You should try to sleep kids. We'll handle this," Dumbledore tried. We all shook our heads. We told him that we would go back to sleep as soon as we saw everything was okay. Dumbledore just nodded and levitated Annabeth's bed.

We followed him to the great hall where we met up with Frank, Hazel, Will, Percy, and Professor McGonagall. The two Professors laid the two next to each other and Percy was the first one up. He took one look at Annabeth and began to soothe her. She woke up and hugged Percy.

The professors told the rest of us to get to bed since we have a long day of classes tomorrow. We agreed and left with only one look back at the two. We all agreed to tell the others tomorrow in DADA, if they didn't find out before, and left each other to head back to bed.

Professor Dumbledore came in about ten minutes later and told us that by tomorrow the americans would have knew sleeping arrangements that attached to their rooms. Annabeth wasn't with him so I asked, "Where's Annabeth?"

"My dear, her and Percy can't get back to sleep so they are now in my office waiting till it is time to go to breakfast. Now sleep." at the end it felt like I had been enveloped in my own charmspeak.
