3/31I envied the girl,
Going to the hockey game.
I was supposed to go.
They didn't even ask.Pleased by
the compromise.
We headed down the road,
And came to an
Unexpected stop.Shocked by the
Semi surprising news,
I plastered a smile on my face;
As she got in.
You both betraying my trust,We arrived at the
restaurant portion,
Of the arcade.She said,
I had my fathers smile.
He slid his hand
Into her inner thigh.Forced laughs,
And uncomfortable smiles.They griped
Each other's hands.
A peck on the head .The nights almost over.
But of course,
We all out after.A dessert, to sweeten
The night.
A cherry on top. Finally dropping her off,
You both get out of the car.
Standing right in front,
Headlights on.But somehow,
I was the deer,
Standing in the lights.Sworn to secrecy,
Because I'd ruin everything.
But of course you could tell me!
I had just turned twelve,
Only a few months ago.But "I was your shrink"
As you said, half joking.I ruined her fucking birthday.
With now our dirty secret.I had to share it though.
It was eating away at my
Already broken mind.
