3/31

I envied the girl,
Going to the hockey game.
I was supposed to go.
They didn't even ask.

Pleased by
the compromise.
We headed down the road,
And came to an
Unexpected stop.

Shocked by the
Semi surprising news,
I plastered a smile on my face;
As she got in.
You both betraying my trust,

We arrived at the
restaurant portion,
Of the arcade.

She said,
I had my fathers smile.
He slid his hand
Into her inner thigh.

Forced laughs,
And uncomfortable smiles.

They griped
Each other's hands.
A peck on the head .

The nights almost over.
But of course,
We all out after.

A dessert, to sweeten
The night.
A cherry on top.

Finally dropping her off,
You both get out of the car.
Standing right in front,
Headlights on.

But somehow,
I was the deer,
Standing in the lights.

Sworn to secrecy,
Because I'd ruin everything.
But of course you could tell me!
I had just turned twelve,
Only a few months ago.

But "I was your shrink"
As you said, half joking.

I ruined her fucking birthday.
With now our dirty secret.

I had to share it though.
It was eating away at my
Already broken mind.
