Beast boys little sister

Short but sweet I think

                        *Nyx's POV*

"Look I'm just saying Nyx is short and that's that." Cyborg said holding his hands up in the air with a carefree aura. "Look I'm sorry if some people can't be like towers over here looking over everyone!" I said glaring at him and walking to the roof to let out a frustrated scream.

                 *Couple days before*

Standing on my tippy toes I tried reaching for a glass on the top shelf on the cupboard, when a long air scratched out and grabbed the cup I was going after. I turned around to see Cyborg standing there with the glass in his mechanical hand as he held it to me. "Thanks." I said filling it up with water and walking to my room. Hours later at lunch time I tried reaching for the tofu that was on the top shelf when Raven lifted it with her magic handing it to me with a slight pat on the shoulder. I heaved a sigh of relief whennI heard laughing from behind me to only turn around and see Cyborg laughing his bolts out at me which caused me to chunk a piece of tofu at him leaving his to cool it for my needy brother. At dinner I had no problems with anything bc Starfire helped me cook well sort of I asked her to get the ingredients that I knew I couldn't reach and that was our system, but then the next day when I walked into the kitchen every, and I mean every piece of breakfast food possibly, was all on the top shelves of the cupboard. Cyborg was laughing again at me for being short.

  "Cyborg can you please help me reach the ingredients?" I asked him politely as he explained he couldnt because he had to finish a life or death round of Mario Kart with Garfield. I ended up not cooking and going to bed, and here we are now.

                    *Back to today*

"Wait Nyx you know I was just messing with you right?" Cyborg said placing his mechanical hand on my shoulder. "No Cyborg I didn't, for one you rearranged the food to where I couldn't get it so I didn't eat unlike you guys! For two you don't walk out on someone who needs help just for a game! Now the third thing, what really got me was that you laughed at me when I couldnt reach stuff! So no Cyborg I totally knew you were messing with me!" I yelled angrily as my hands balled into fists and I ran up to the roof jumping of letting the wind whip around me.

  Before I was pancake mix on the sidewalk I let my animal instincts take over and I shifted into a Phoenix soaring through the sky and over the cith not thinking just enjoying the peace and sanity of my own mind. Not long after I decided to land on a building roof that I noticed myself crying as I sat there with my knees to my chest and my head on my knee caps. "God why did I get so mad..." I mumbled through my tears when I jumped hearing my communicator going off, probably Robin calling to aske me where I was at. I just simply turned it off and began leaping across the roofs of various buildings before I stood at the waters edge of the lake. "It would be so easy to end it all now....but I can't because I have a brother and a loving partner waiting for me at home. Huh a funny word home...they have become a family to me that I hadn't realized that it was just a sibling prank... I sighed picking up a rock and skipping it across the lake before flying back to the tower, to home.

  "Robin it was just a prank I didn't mean to intentionally hurt her." Cyborg said looking at a furious Robin when I interjected. "I know that now. Sorry for running out like that, sorry Cyborg for getting all butt hurt over a few jokes and laughs." I said hugging him gently before looking up at his tall features. "Giant." I said looking at him with a smirk. "Munchkin." He said making me blush and laugh. "Yeah I am short aren't I." I said looking at the titans with a slight smile when Robin hugged me close and kissed me on my forehead. "Your my shorty though." He mumbled in my ear making me blush and laugh more. "Yeah yeah. I'm tired goodnight fam!" I said walking to my room and going into the secret walkway in the closets and grabbing one of Robin's huge hoodies slipping it on and climbing in the bed falling fast asleep to the thoughts of happiness.

  I love my little family even if I get made fun of for being short their the only ones who can mess with me. I know that if I get called short by anyone else they'll pumble them in an instant. "Thank you." I said happily drifting off into a steady dream land.
