Skyefalls destiny

Chapter one "Camp"

I drop the final bits of poppy seeds on the soft dirt of Katanas tent.
"That's the most I could find" I murmur under my breath.
"This is all? I'll take what I can get!" Katana snarled, as she snags the seeds I've worked so hard to find.
"Get well soon, That bear did a number on your leg" I smile warmly at her, only to be greeted with a cold, unforgiving glare. I leave her tent, and begin wandering the forest. That was Katana, She's a good friend of mine. She isn't always in a bad mood like that, though. She's just mad because she was attacked by a bear the other day. Foul creatures, id say. Not long ago, We were being attacked by soldiers. We were driven from our home, Ordem and forced into hiding. That, And the fact she was attacked by a bear is probably what's making her so grumpy. I'm getting ahead of myself, I should ask fritz if she needs any food. It's been days Sense we last ate.

I head back to camp, And enter fritz's tent. She's asleep, Of course. I calmly shake her, whispering her name. She makes a slow grunting noise and turns away from my direction. I begin to shake a little harder, Wake up. Wake up. "Fritz, Are you hungry? We haven't eaten in days"
"Yes, Fetch me some rabbit, Will you?" Fritz fakes a smile, And lays back down "Just leave me alone" I lift my hands in the air, And walk away. Maybe Candace would like to come hunting! I grow excited, Hunting with Candace! We never get alone time, we need this. I enter our tent, to see her playing with her silky hair.
"Hey, Beautiful" I smile warmly, As she giggles. I walk towards her, And find a dry spot of grass to sit on.
"What do you need, Handsome" Candace giggles, As we never call each-other that.
"Fritz wanted me to fetch her some rabbit, If you wanted to come" I begin to explain
"Of course, Let me get prepared" She leaps up from her spot and kisses my forehead "Meet me outside katanas tent in 10 minutes"

Ten minutes have passed, Ans I head towards katanas tent. She leaves her tent, Warmly waving at Katana. She turns and glares at me.
"Ready?" Candace looks into my eyes, and smiles.
"As ready as I'll ever be" I return the glare.
I grasp her hand and we leave the camp. We begin to stalk around the tall grass. I let go of her hand, So I can use both for grasping food. I crouch lower than I did before, I listen around for a noise, Any! Whatever animal is stupid enough to make a sound, will be tonite food. To the right, I hear quiet chartering from a mole. I stalk around where I hear it. And I grab the rodent by the throat. It begins to squirm, and bit my thumb. In return, I slammed its head into a tree. It stopped moving, So I carefully lay it down. I will return for it later when it's time to return to camp.

After an hour or so of hunting, I've found several moles and rabbits, all in one of which have been gathered into one pile. I return to the pile, And pick up all the dead animals. It's getting dark and Candace has already returned to camp. I stuff them all into a backpack, and begin to head to camp. When I arrived the fire has already been made, and everyone was waiting for me. They've all been eating without me, I take the fresh kill out of the backpack and lay them in a pile of dead animals. I look around at the other three and sit down next to Candace.
"What are we all talking about-?" I nervously look around at everyone, whom are starting at me now. Candace replies, to break the silence.
"We're talking about- Well" She stutters. She never stutters- Theres something she wants to tell me.
"Oh quit stuttering, I'll tell him" Katana gets up and sits on my left side. She gently lays her hand on my shoulder and stares into my eyes
"We're planning on moving into a town- Not a big one-" I interrupt her
"But we're doing just fine out here!" I spat back at her.
"I know that but listen-" She looks into my eyes. "While Candace was out hunting she saw a group of those men- from Ordem- They're looking for people who escaped the town. We need to leave. If we enter a new town-"
I once again interrupted her.
"We can just fight them off!" I shout. The I point at Fritz. "We have a demond with us!" I storm off into my tent and lay down on some soft grass.

"You put on quite a show there" Candace sat down by me. "Katana thinks it's for the best."
"Well she's wrong! She always is!" I spat back.
"Not always" Candace grabbed my jaw and forced me to look at her.
"So your siding with her? Of course, Why not leave our new home!" I tear my jaw away from her grasp. She grabs me- And pulls me into a hug. I reluctantly return the hug. I look down into her hazel eyes, And she presses her lips on mines. My face turns bright pink, and I close my eyes. We stay still for just a moment, until I pulled away.
"Your right- just... a few more days. Please, that's all I ask" I beg
"I'll talk to the other about this" She smiles "I'll tell you what they say"
