Chapter six "Shattered"

Thump. Thump. The sound of the rain gushing on the windows and roof soothes me. I open my eyes and lay on the couch by Lily, who has awoke as well.
"I always loved the rain." Lily whispered, keeping herself from waking anyone up.
"Me too, it's so soothing." I respond.
"Not when you have to walk in it" Lily stares up at me "Like we all have to today."
"We can wait it out, we aren't in a hurry to anywhere." I point out.
"Oh.... I thought you would be trying to find the culprit behind the downfall to Ordem." Lily shrugged.
"I- id rather not talk about that." I look down at my knees, saddened by the thought of my hometown.
"We could stay here another night." Lily stands up to gather water.
"Yeah, id like that." I smile. Lily finished gathering water from a lake nearby and freaked into the house.
"I'm gonna wake the rest, we have water for them." Lily whispers, as she creeps into fritz and katanas room. Lily exits the room with fritz, and the two sit down at the table.
"Where's katana at?" I murmur to the two.
"She's waking up Candace for Lily" Fritz responds simply. I sit down at a empty seat, leaving two remaining for Candace and katana.
"What's for breakfast?" Lily asks, looking up at us.
"Not sure." Fritz responds "Me and skyefall could head out into town and get something."
"I don't see why not" I murmur as I lunge out of the seat. "Tell Candace and katana where we've journeyed off to, would you?" I ask Lily.
She gives us a simple nod and we head out.

"I still have chills from that 'Dark' from yesterday." Fritz shivers.
"We'll be fine, don't worry about her." I lay my hand on her shoulder as we continue on the path.
"Do you think we'll see her here, again?" Fritz gasps.
"It's a possibility." I murmur, as I bump into a citizen. "Sorry, man."
The citizen doesn't acknowledge me, I look around and see people lined up at the ends of the path.
"What's this?" I ask one of the citizens.
"Once every full moon, in the morning somebody comes. To make sure the town isn't under chaos." The man points into the path "Her assistant is coming soon. Everyone must be in line." I look back at fritz and we journey back to the cabin. Lily is sitting next to Katana, while Candace sulks on the couch.
"Somebody is arriving at town to keep it safe, we should probably be there for it." Fritz explains. Candace gets up and wraps her arms around me "Let's go then." She moans. I untangle her arms off me and exit the door, fritz by my side. The five of us head to the path we found everyone at. We mush ourselves into the crowd and watch as a.... boy no older than thirteen strolls down the pathway. We only see one side of him, he has sheer blonde hair with curly bangs. He has white skin and faded teal eyes. He pure white clothing, a pale white formal shirt, white jeans and white boots. He trots down the path and stops right in front of us. His eye turns at fritz, then myself and he shifts his whole body to us. No wonder he's so feared. His left eye has skin covering it it seems, and large cracks alongside his face. The cracks fade inside his hair. He stares at us for a short moment then finally murmurs in a emotionless voice. "Demond's."
I shiver strolls down my spine when he grabs me from the crowd, his grasp stronger than one even fritz could manage. He uses his other hand to snag fritz as well. "You must be sent to Shaylee at once!" He growls, dragging us along the path. Candace pushes her way through the path and chases after us, Lily and katana following close behind. The boys feet aren't moving. He's floating closely to the ground. He begins to grow faster and faster until, the town is out of our sight. He drops up in front of a large castle, which lays at the top of the mountains. It seems to be guarding maku. The boy snaps his fingers and the doors fling open. He let's go of us and blows white powder on us, he then crunches some in his right hand and throws us into the castles main entrance.

"Who are you?!" Fritz spat at the boy, while clenching her temples.
"Dawn, of course. Shaylees trusted assistant!" He spat.
"Who is this Shaylee anyways?" I stand up.
"You'll find out soon enough." He begins to laugh maniacally, and snaps his fingers. Fritz and I are teleported into some sort of cell. A prison cell.
