~Lunch break~

BEN made it to the cafeteria before us. We all have different classes at different times, in order to gain more ground and information.
"Hey guys, we got offered some seats." He tells us.
"Did they offer or did you ask?" Eyeless Jack asks.
"Offered, along with a bit of etiquette." He replies.
"I thought we knew all of that. What is it then?" I ask him.
"Not to deny seating with a lady unless prior seating is acquired." Cue everyone in the group giving BEN a face that asks if he's stupid.
        "What?" The idiot asks.
"BEN, we learned that in the very beginning, you idiot." Jeff answers while face palming. He leads us to the table where Sapphire and, it seems like, one of her friends, a redhead with wavy hair, are sitting.
"So how do you feel about clocks?" Clockwork asks the redhead, who seems to be sleeping. Sapphire looks at the girl with a confused look that quickly switches to understanding.
        "Coleen. Wake up!" She says.
"I'm innocent!" ‘What exactly does Coleen dream of?’
"They saw you this time? That's odd." ‘So Sapphire knows what the dream is?’
"Yeah, it was weird. Not our parents this time either."
"That's different. You only see it if you're there to witness it, so if not ours, then who's?" They both notice us.
"We'll finish this later." They say together, then Coleen tries to seem normal again.
"Sorry, I zoned out, could you repeat that Clocky?" ‘Clocky? Can she see past the spell?’
"Right! I was asking if you like clocks." Coleen seems to think it over.
"Hmm, although they annoy me to no end with their ringing, I know that they are a necessity in life. So I suppose I'm neutral. How about you Sapphire?"
"Oh, I guess I'm also neutral. Though I hate their constant countdown of time, I do know when something is needed." I notice a boy walk up behind Sapphire as she speaks. He bends down and starts talking in her ear.
"You are so-" Before he can finish, Coleen is holding his arms behind his back with her shoe between his shoulder blades. I analyze her strategy. 'Nice form.' Sapphire seems to be enjoying the situation before her. She looks around the room and so do I. Everyone else seems freaked out. She looks back at our group and seems confused. 'Is it because we react differently.' She turns back to Coleen.
"Quarterback. Harmless. Let him free Coleen." ‘Harmless?! Visibly, he could snap her like a twig! She must have something up her sleeve.’ Coleen drops him and Sapphire chuckles. The quarterback gets back up and yells at, the now seated, Coleen.
"I'm her boyfriend! Why would you do that?!" She eats her food, unfazed.
"She did it because she knows that I hate people who sneak up on me. Which I would consider as mercy compared to me, considering what happened at that Halloween party three years ago. Didn't that guy end up in the hospital for a week?" ‘She did that! The news said that was one of us. Then again, we never did figure out who did it.’
"You want me to sit with you?" ‘He's obviously being protective. Probably because she's sitting with so many guys.’
"No Xyler, I'm fine. Go sit with the rest of the football team, ok?" She kisses his cheek and he leaves.
"What was that all about?" BEN asks.
"That, my friends, was Blue's 'boyfriend'. You see, in this school, the toughest jock has to date either the head cheerleader, the cutest geek, or the toughest hot girl." Coleen says.
"And somehow, I ended up as all four along with C here, who's  the second toughest. But, rules are rules, I can't date myself and I'm not allowed to date a girl according to the school board, even if it's just for show. So I have a designated boyfriend, Xyler, a smart, funny, handsome, and all around nice quarterback that just so happens to be the toughest guy in school." Sapphire seems to continue the thought.
"To be honest, he's the perfect guy." They finish together. 'Wow, they must know each other well. Sapphire sounded so bored though.'
"So you don't like him then?" Jeff asks.
"Is that smile real?" Coleen asks reaching across the table. 'She can see past the spell. Add in her brute force. We should gain more information on her.'
"Coleen, no." Sapphire stops her from touching Jeff's face.
        "But-"
"But no. You can't touch Chelsea's face." ‘Chelsea? That would make sense if she was giving us nicknames by our attributes. After all, Jeff gave himself a Chelsea smile.’
"Give me one reason why I can't." Coleen says. Sapphire smirks. ‘It seems she took this as a dare or bet of some sort.’
"One, it's his face, ask permission. Two, you can't just randomly go around touching people's faces, it's rude. And three, it's his business whether or not his smile is real, not yours. Besides, I'm sure he could tell you if it was real or fake without you touching him. Need I continue." Coleen blinks.
"Ok fine. You win, I won't touch random peoples faces without asking anymore." ‘Does that mean she's done it before?’
"Good, now tell Chelsea you're sorry."
"What?! Why?" Coleen pouts. ‘Geez, is she always like this.’
"Because you need to apologize." Coleen groans. ‘Sapphire is clearly the alpha of the school. But Coleen is no omega compared.’
"Fine! I'm sorry I didn't ask if I could touch your awesome face. You happy now Blue?" Sapphire nods.
"That's right. I don't like him." She answers Jeff’s earlier question.
"So can I have him?" ‘For what Jane?’
"Did you not hear that whole explanation, Jane?" Laughing Jack asks. ‘How long has he been there.’
"Tell you what. When you get a 95 average in all of your classes, become head cheerleader and beat me in a fair fight, you can have him." Sapphire tells her.
"Forgive my intrusion but, why don't you like him?" Eyeless Jack pitches in.
"Simple, he's too perfect for his own good." Coleen answers.
"No matter what, I'll find out what he's hiding." Sapphire adds in.
"No ones that perfect." They finish together again. ‘How well do these girls know each other.’ The bell rings, signaling lunch over, and they both leave.
