~After school~
Masky’s Perspective

I just finish setting up cameras in the living room so that I can catch whoever Sapphire wants to talk to. Obviously, it's someone who knows her MO. Maybe, if I know that, I can figure out who in the underworld this girl really is. I lay the envelope onto the living room table. ‘Perfect. Almost everyone in the mansion is here already.’ Everyone stares at me as I lean against the wall. ‘Now it's just a matter of waiting.’
“Yo Masky! Who's the envelope for?” BEN pipes up.
        “Someone.” I answer.
“And this someone is?” Jeff joins in.
“If I knew who it was for, would I have left it out in the open? Why wouldn’t I just give it to the person directly?” They stop to think about it for a minute. I start to leave to my room.
“Who's it from?” Killer Kara asks.
“Someone.” I answer in the same tone as before.
“What?! Lame! I bet you don't even know who it's from.” Jane claims.
“Yeah, its probably a love letter you got in your locker and you just want to pawn it off on us.” Clockwork says.
“As a matter of fact, I DO know who it's from and they told me not to give out their name.”
“And you're listening to them! For what reason?!” Eyeless Jack asks.
“I'm doing this as a favor. They helped me with something so I'm helping them with this.” They all pull a blank face.
“How will we know who it's for then?”
“They told me that it goes to whoever understands the letter. So I guess you could all try to read it and whoever knows the language on the paper will understand it.”
“I guess I'll go first then.” BEN says, grabbing the letter off the table. He opens the letter and attempts to read it.
“It looks like Swahili mixed with Chinese and Spanish. I could probably look it up.”
“No dice. That I'm aware of, only two people know the language. The person who sent it and the person it was sent to.”
        “My turn!” Clockwork yells.
“This has got to be the worst handwriting I have ever seen.” She passes it to Jane and she just agrees with Clockwork, passing it to Jeff.
“Geez, and I thought my handwriting was bad.” He says. It passes to Laughing Jack, then Eyeless Jack, then Hoodie, who all agree with the previous statements.
“Let me give it a try.” Kara says. Hoodie hands her the letter.
        “Toby, help me with this.”
        “Me? But why?”
“Just help me. Look at the page. Recognize anything useful?”
“Huh, that's weird. This looks just like the language you showed me when we first met.”
“What? But I never taught you any languages when I moved here.”
“Silly Kara, that's not when we first met.”
“Wait, you guys met before she moved in? How'd that happen? I thought she cut all her ties in the outside world.”
“I thought I did too. Toby are you sure it was me who taught you this?”
“Well yeah. How else would I know that you used to sleep with a teddy bear.”
        “So does every little girl.”
“In the nu-“ Kara covers Toby’s mouth while blushing.
“OK THAT’S ENOUGH! I guess I didn't cover my bases well enough because only one person knew about that.”
“So do you recognize the language?” I get the conversation back on track.
“No, but Toby seems to think I do. Who's it from?”
“A girl. I can tell you about her back in my room if you want. But I don't need these idiots asking about her.”
“Yeah, thanks.” We head to my room and I start telling her about Sapphire.
“Raven black hair, dark blue eyes, sorta pale skin. Recognize her?”
        “Sounds familiar. Got a name?”
“Asked me not to tell. Another friend from your past?”
“Not sure. Know anything else about her?”
“Just that she's pretty much the alpha of the school and that she resorted to pulling a load of crap to get my cameras.”
“What kind of crap did she pull?” I blush like a mad man.
“I'd rather not talk about that.”
“Alright then, what did she say about the letter?”
“That it was for a friend on our side and that they would know it when they see it.”
“Really? Ok well, is she a killer or something?”
“She didn't really say if she was or wasn't.”
“Did she say anything about killing or why she would send the letter?”
“Actually, yeah. She said ‘Can't trust one without being one’ after saying she trusted the killer the letter was for.”
“Why did she send the letter?”
“She said it was for a birthday.”
“Who's birthday do you think it's for?”
“That's just it. I checked the police reports for the date she gave me. There was a birthday party. She and two of her friends attended. All three survived a massacre, but only she and one of the friends was listed as survivors. The last was never found.”
        “Who was the party for?”
“The same friend that went missing. A girl by the name of Caroline Artumoros.”
“So how'd this girl figure you out? Weren't you disguised or something?”
“She saw through it and did a reverse look up on our descriptions.”
“She’s smart and crazy too. Normally not a good combination, but in our case she's a shoe in for staying here.” The door bursts open and with it comes in Toby.
“Kara, do you know anyone named Nicole Etts or Jeremy Paragast? Their names are listed in the letter along with several others.”
“Let me see it.” He hands her the letter and she looks over it again.
“I thought something was familiar. Do you mind if I take this with me to Slender's? I need to speak with him.” She asks me.
“Sure, it's all yours.” She runs off to his office.
