Sapphire’s Perspective

“Are you all ready to party!” I say in my best British accent. I hear a multitude of accents screaming. I spot a guy at the back dressed in a white version of my costume. ‘I guess that's Chat Blanc.’
“Awesome! But first I'd like to ask my partner in crime up to the stage. Could you guys make a pathway for the white cat in back. Come on up Chat Blanc!” I use my British accent again. I start the music. ‘I should keep up this accent for the night. I'll get Chat Blanc to do the same.’ He finally makes his way onto the stage. I move closer to his ear.
“Don't forget to use an accent.” He nods. I move back to my spot.
“Can you handle videoing everyone?” I pull out Tim’s camera. He nods.
“Good. I'm on music for the next hour, then I'm switching with the cowgirl over there. In the meantime, my music should give you enough cover to get some good photos and videos. Got it?”
“Yep, got it.” A smooth Brooklyn accent comes from the white cat’s mouth, making me blush.
“Good, and nice job on the accent. Brooklyn right?” He nods. I hear the end of the song.
“Well, see you later!” I get back to the mix table and switch the song. I look back to where I just was and the white cat is already gone. ‘Who is that cat?’ I focus back onto the mix table and the music.

Masky’s Perspective

‘Where in the underworld did she get my camera? No, wait! What am I thinking? Forget the camera! Who was that cat?’ I start taking pictures of the party goers. ‘Funny, Death’s Double Trio won't destroy its own party.’ A new song comes on and the crowd starts dancing. I get closer to the mix table and see Chat Noir really get into playing the part of the DJ. I take a video of her dancing, twirling, spinning, and moving her hips to the music while still being able to remix the song. ‘Whoa.’
“She's good right?” A Hispanic sounding girl in a toga and blue mask spooks me right after I finish the video. I nearly drop the camera.
“Whoa, I didn't mean to spook you Chat Blanc.” I turn and take a quick picture.
“No worries. Now we're even.” I use my Brooklyn accent smoothly. I smirk at her. She laughs when I show her the picture.
“I take it you're the designated cameraman?” Asks a German Poison Ivy with a green mask.
“And if I am?” She pulls out a picture and hands it to me.
“What's your opinion on the work done with this photo?” I look briefly, not taking note of who was in the picture.
“The lighting and placement are spectacular! Is this staged?”
“Actually, it was a prank I pulled on two of my friends.”
“Cool. Mind if I keep it for reference?” She smirks a bit.
        “No sweat. It's all yours.”
“Thanks. I better get back to work before Chat Noir realizes I'm not as busy as I look.” I go back to taking pictures. A dance battle starts on the dance floor. I start videoing the ensuing chaos. When it's over, a familiar British accent warms my ear, making me blush.
“Want something to drink or snack on?” I turn towards her and nod my head. She grabs my hand and leads me to the kitchen.
“What would you like to drink?” She asks suavely.
“Coke’ll be fine. Thanks.” She hands me a cup of it.
“Hey, I know this is probably the weirdest request ever but,…can I get a closer look at your eyes?” She freezes for a second. She comes closer to me and looks at my chin and shoulders. At the same time, I'm trying to look at her eyes. She looks at me suddenly with wide eyes. I look at hers and mine widen too.
“Hey Chat Noir! Breaks over.” She turns and runs back to the mix table. I look at the picture I was given and blush, but smile in spite of myself. ‘So that's who you are kitty.’ I take my camera and start taking more pictures and videos. By the end of the night, I was almost out of memory. Right before the party ended, I was grabbed up again and dragged back to the room from before.
“Go ahead and change back! Your clothes are on the bed.” I hear through the door. I just sigh and do as I'm told. I walk back to the door and knock on it.
        “You dressed?”
“Yes. Can I come out now?” The door opens in response and I'm pulled back to the living room, being set on the couch afterwards.
        “I can walk you know.”
“I know.” Coleen answers me back.
“Let me go already! Quit dragging me!” I hear from the hallway and smirk. ‘Well, at least I'm not the only one being dragged around tonight.’ Sapphire is thrown onto the couch next to me. We look at each other.
“Didn't see much of you tonight.” We say together.
“Seriously! You guys didn't figure it out?” Caroline screeches.
        “Figure out what?” I ask.
“Not a clue as to what you're talking about.” Sapphire says. The other six people in the room gawk at us.
“Well, I'm going home.” Caroline starts walking out of the house.
“We're going to bed.” Coleen says, walking down the hallway. Leslie and Peryn follow.
“Us too. See you in the morning Blue.” Lucy and Morrigan leave. We sit there until we hear the doors shut, then just sit in silence for a couple of minutes.
“So… I guess I should be going.” I get up then feel something latch onto my hand.
“No! I mean, don't go yet. I… I…” I watch her, willing her to say she wanted me to stay.
“I need help cleaning up.” My shoulders slump a little, but I nod anyway. We go to start in the kitchen.
