Chapter 12- SUPRISE

The time came and I was heading off to Atlanta with Tom, Ellie and Haz are going to visit and Emily will join us in a few months. We boarded our flight and we were in first class which I haven't flown in yet. Our seats were next to each other and I flicked through the films and chose one, Tom did the same. It was very early in the morning so there wasn't a lot of talking

Our films came to an end and they were serving breakfast on the flight, me and tom started talking as we ate our food. "what film did you watch?" Tom asked. I yawned as I answered, "27 Dresses, one of my favourite romances." "whats it about?" "A woman who has been a bridesmaid 27 times and shes in love with her boss and she meets a columnist who writes reviews on weddings and she meets him in person and she falls for him and then her sister gets engaged to her boss and it all ends well. I am just about to get to my favourite part, she's about to marry the reporter and his face when she walks down the isle is beautifully priceless." "Wow you really like weddings." "who doesn't there're great, its two people expressing their love for each other with all their friends and family!" Tom nodded agreeing with what I said and smiled at me. 

We had 5 hours left of the flight, I decided to go to sleep and before I knew it we arrived. We were staying at the same house Tom rented for Spiderman Homecoming, we decided to live there together instead of having two separate houses. We left the plane and we searched for the car waiting for us. We got into the car and it was about a 30 minute drive to the house. "Here it is." Tom said as he pointed to the house to show me. It was beautiful. Tom passed me my suitcase and we made our way in. Tom put his keys in the door and we walked in, "surprise!" I look up to see Zendaya standing in the house. Me and Tom just look at each other shocked. "Well are you gonna hug me or what?" Zendaya said to Tom. He dropped his bags and hugged her, she looked at me whilst she hugged Tom. It was safe to say that I felt uncomfortable. "and you must be Samantha." "Yeah Hi, nice to meet you." There was an awkward silence, "I'm going to freshen up and unpack." I said. "I'll show you you're room." Tom said. I went into my room and I didn't unpack I phoned Ellie. 

"Ellie" I whispered 

"Yes sammie, whats up?" 

"Zendaya is here!" 

"What I didn't know they were together! Tom said he was single?" 

"I know was he lying the whole time? She is all over him!" 

"Girl this is awkward! I just wish you and Harrison were here!" 

"Aw hun, I could fly out earlier? I know Haz can't but if it saved you from that!" 

"really would you?" 

"Let me check flights and I'll text you!" 

I hung up the phone and began to unpack, I can't believe she is here, Tom didn't talk about her much but the way he was acting around me was almost as if he liked me or at least wanted to be with me. I thought once we were away just me and him friends may turn into more than friends. 

I took and shower and let my hair air dry. I shoved on some light casual clothes and headed downstairs. "Okay we need to buy some food, Sammie do you wanna come?" Tom asked. I thought about its for a second and I shook my head. "No thats okay thanks, I'll give you some money towards it if you buy me some bits?" "Of course, write me a small list." I began writing a small list on my phone and I texted it to Tom. "See ya in a bit." Tom left with Zendaya and I was alone. I rang Emily and Hazel to inform them on my situation. I just couldn't believe Tom would lie to me. 

I sat on the sofa watching some american show and I got a call from Niall. 

"Hey Sammie, its Niall."

"Haha I know, I have caller ID." 

"Oh right yeah, how are you?" 

"I am...alright." I sighed knowing full well I wasn't alright. 

"You sure?" 

"yeah I am fine. Whats up?" I said changing the subject. 

"Well I just spoke to Simon and he has given us the go ahead for our single!" 

"Wow Niall thats great!"

"I know so I'm thinking lets write lyrics and then we will have meet up and arrange days where we can write music and-"

"Niall I'm in Atlanta, I am starring in a film. I don't know when I can fly to the UK to write music." 

"Oh well, how long you there for?"

"Could be a year?" 

"Wow well on my tour we got to US so we could meet up during my tour?" 

"Yeah that could work! I know that my trailer for the film has an area where I can record so as long as we get the backing track sorted we can both work on lyrics separately and we can make a song?" 

"Sounds good to me!" 

"Great!"

"Now are you gonna tell me whats wrong?" 

"What nothings wrong."

"Sammie I haven't known you for long but I can tell when someones upset."

"Fine, I like someone and I thought for a while that they liked me back and I have arrived here in Atlanta with them to find out that he may have a girlfriend, I don't know."

"Wow thats rough. Who is he? Anyone I'd know?"

I sigh loudly before I answered feeling drained about the whole situation. "Yeah Tom Holland, You cant tell anyone but I an gonna be in the new Spiderman film hense why I am here and there were rumours he was with Zendaya and we turned up here and she's all over him!" 

"Aw sammie, it'll be okay. Ever feel sad feel free to call me." 

"Thanks Niall."
