Chapter 19- Dinner date

Before I went to bed I phoned all of my friends apart from Emily who was flying out to NYC to you know assist! And I was so glad too because I had nothing to wear and I missed her too! I woke up with a huge smile on my face, I still couldn't believe Tom asked me out on a date! I had meetings in the morning and two arranged FaceTime calls with Niall and Simon. I checked my phone  as I ate some breakfast and Emily text me that she had landed, so she would be arriving in 30 minutes or so! I Got myself dressed and ready for the day and she text me that she was in the lobby! 

I ran downstairs and immediately saw my friend, I pulled her into a hug and we made our way upstairs. She had a room a floor down from mine and we hung out in it whilst she unpacked, "Sammie we need to do all these meetings quick so we can get down to business!" I laugh at how she gets into 'work mode' , "so you mean we have to do work so then we can go shopping?" I laugh. "Exactly, I have taught you well. The meeting is in 45 minutes so I say we had over there soon because we don't wanna be late." "what is this meeting for again?" I ask. "Didn't I tell you?" I shake my head. "A fashion designer wants to make you a dress for you to wear at the brits, all he wants is for you to say its an original and his name." "Oh cool, who is he?" "Lozorro." I gasp,"NO way! Oh wow I love how work he's amazing!" "Well we shan't be late then!" Emily said in her posh British accent! 

We left he hotel and there was a car waiting to take us to Keilfields where Lozorro was meeting us. He is a wedding dress designer but he wants to get into red carpet glamour I was informed. I was greeted by the legend himself and then I was measured and we brainstormed colours and designs. I wanted to leave most of it in his hands as he was the expert and before we knew it we had around 3 hours to shop before our planned calls back home! 

"Sammie where to first?" Emily said she got out a small map. "Macy's? Blooming dales?" I suggested. "Lets do it." We entered the shops and we both scoured the racks trying to find something for the big date. Me and Emily were searching for around an hour when I found a little red dress, "Emily how about this?" "Oh I love it! Lets go try it on!" Emily zipped me up, it was just above knee length, strapless with overlay of material around the waist. "Its perfect, not too formal but not too casual either." I nod agreeing with her. "Lets get it!" Emily clapped and we had just under two hours to get back to the hotel. 

We got back to the hotel on time and set up our facetime call with Simon, it was simple, just discussing the album, tour etc.  

"Hi Simon, can you hear me?" 

"Yes Hi Sammie, how are you?" 

"Im great Simon, you?"

"Yes fine thanks, now the album. Hows it coming along?" 

"The album is great, I got around 7 songs?" 

"Fantastic now myself and Claire have been looking at your tour stats from this year and you were in high demand." 

"Right?"

"So I'm thinking we take this on to a world tour?" 

"What! Yes sure"

"Okay, its just a thought there will be things to plan but leave that to us right now and you just keep writing."

"Will I get a say in how the tour is planned or?"

"Yeah you can give us some ideas but with you being there and us being here its not ideal sweetheart. And you knew this too."

I nodded, "Yeah i know."

"Look the agreement was, write an album, shoot the film, plan tour and practice, movie press tour and then world tour. got it?" 

"Yeah yeah I get it!"
