After a week, Damien was allowed to go back to college, so he was on his way there with Delia and Jason. "It's glad to have you back Damien," Delia kindly told him. "Thanks. How's everything going at Jason's?" "It's going well. His parents like me." "My dad likes you." "I like you," she slipped out. Damien stared at her with wide eyes. "You do?" She blushed. "It's fine if you do." She faced him and kissed him on his cheek. "Thanks Delia." Jason smiled at them both and continued walking.

Once at college the three friends went to their lockers and met up before going to class. "We've got drama next Delia. If we have to work in pairs again, would you like to work with me?" She was speechless as he was asking her. "Sure. I'd love to."

During drama class, Damien and Delia were working together and Damien suddenly tripped over a chair leg and fell to the floor. "Are you alright?" Delia asked in a worrying voice. "I'm fine." The teacher walked towards them and saw that Damien was standing up. "It's my fault. I slipped." "Just be careful." He nodded and continued with the scene that he and Delia were practicing.

When they performed their kiss scene, everyone awed and when the teacher told them to take their seats, they were still kissing. "Guys, the scene is over. Please take your seats." They broke off the kiss and Damien walked out of the room. "What just happened?" He asked himself. The teacher followed him outside. "Damien, what's wrong? Do you need a drink?" "Er, yeah. I'm sorry about walking out without asking." "Just don't do it again." He nodded, got a drink of water and went back to class.

At break time, Damien and Delia walked to the lockers. "Why did you run out of drama class?" "I just needed a minute." "Were you getting overheated?" "A little." Many students glared at them both and they couldn't believe that Damien was talking to her. "Delia, I know we're friends, but I think I want to be more than friends." She was shocked. "Well, I appreciate the offer Damien, I do, but I don't know." "I love you for who you are. Bright, smart, kind and many other factors. Please think about it. I understand if you want us to stay as friends." That's when she kissed his lips and everyone gawked at them. Damien kissed her back and wrapped his arms around her waist as her arms were around his neck.

The bell rang when it was time for the third lesson. "We better go Damien." "Yeah. We err...don't want to be late." Jason suddenly walked up to them and saw Damien walking with Delia. "Thanks for leaving me pal." From then on, Jason began to worry that he had lost his best friend.

At the end of a long day, Damien was waiting at the gate for Delia while she put her books into her locker when Jason walked up the him. "Hey Jason." "Yeah," He grumbled. "What's wrong with you?" "Are you kidding me?!" he yelled. "What did I do?" "You've started hanging around Delia more than hanging out with me. You used to bring me along with you and now you've..." Damien looked at Jason and saw that his hands were shaking. Damien moved away before Jason lunged at him, but Jason was too fast and pushed Damien to the ground.

"Jason, this isn't you. You're my best friend." "Prove it then!" "I was there for you when you lost your brother," he calmly said. "My only brother! And now he's dead!" "That wasn't my fault and it wasn't yours either Jason. He loved you and you loved him." Jason then punched Damien's face repeatedly.

Delia walked outside to see a crowd gathered around someone and walked around the other students to avoid them, but her eyes caught sight of Damien and Jason. She pushed through the crowd and tried to stop Jason from further hurting Damien. "Jason, stop it." He pushed her off of him and some students asked if she was okay. "I'm...fine," she slowly said before passing out. Some teachers then approached the scene and pulled Jason off of Damien who had lost consciousness.
