Jasmyn Rae Ann killed by world-famous boy band member Jack Robert Avery, member of Why Don't We, over not updating a book? According to Jack he just couldn’t handle it. Why? Here’s a quote from Jack at court while in tears, "Why would she do that just... Just leave me like that. Jonah never met his soulmate, never had children. What will happen to Daniel and his children!?" We will never know what he meant but he was sentenced life in prison without parole.

According to Jasmyn’s family, they had no idea what was happening. “We never even knew about it. She talked about the band but she never mentioned them reading her story. We just knew she was an author.” Her mom told the station, “Our hearts are deeply broken by this. The rest of the band members have given us their deepest sympathy." Jack and Jasmyn's mutual friend Skyler said she had seen it coming, but nobody really expected it to actually happen. Even in Jasmyn's and Skyler's text conversations, they joked about it happening. Skyler is said to be pregnant with a little girl, who she is proudly naming after her best friend Jasmyn. May her memory forever live on in that baby's name and spirit.
