Skyler’s Pov:
“The case of Jasmyn Seavey. Interesting.” I mumble to myself. This is a new case I just received.
Looks like she was found dead in her hotel room bathtub mutilated.
Her husband arrived 10 minutes after the perpetrator broke into the hotel room. But the catch, the hotel room wasn’t broken into. When Mr. Seavey arrived at twenty-one hundred hours she was mostly dead. There’s a difference between mostly dead and dead.
She died at 9:05 on the dot. The perpetrator had cleaned up his tracks pretty well as there was no murder weapon, handprints, or footprints found. Her husband claims to not have committed it.
They arrested Jack Avery on the scene of the crime. He pleads not guilty. But judge ruled Sebastián Alejandro Santiago as guilty. Jack Avery was held for two days after the trial before being released. He’s still being watched.
Sebastián Alejandro Santiago has escaped and is currently being searched for.
Yeah good luck with that Search crew.
There’s something that seems particular about this case. Something just isn’t fitting correctly. How does one simply just disappear?
He couldn’t have gotten very far but the time guards figured out and he didn’t make any noise.
“Hey, call of the Seavey case.” the head chief of police hollars.
“I just got into it.”
“I said call it off.”
“No way. This case is too sketch to just call it off. There’s no way we can just call it off.”
“I said-”
“And I said I’m going to solve it and that’s final.” I slam my fist down. I don’t care who he is, he’s not calling me off my case.
“Alright. Don’t say I didn’t tell you to stop.”
Jasmyn’s Pov:
I’ve been watching over all this. The whole search. The people they put on my case. My husband taking it into his own hands.
All of it.
I know he’ll solve it. I know he will.
I have my hands resisting on his shoulders.
