Daniel’s Pov
So far I’ve made little progress. But that’s better than no progress. It’s more than what the Police have made.
I left our hotel at 10:44. I returned back at 11:13.
When I got back, the perpetrator had already made his move and left. She was still alive at the time so my guess is that the murder happened sometime between 10:50-11:07.
She died just minutes after I found her, around 11:16.
Our hotel room was not broken into, but Jasmyn was also in the shower when I found her. So she either let someone in, took a shower and they quickly turned on her. Or the had a key card to get in.
I don’t think she would let anyone in. She’s always been skeptical of those kinds of things. And she’d definitely not let anyone in if she knew she was getting in the shower.
So far that’s what I’ve figured out. I don’t have any suspects as of right now, but I’ve had my eye on Sebastián Alejandro Santiago. He has had murders all over the country as then he just vanished.
My old friend Jack Avery was arrested at the scene of the crime. But I know for a fact that he didn’t do it. I had seen him just before I entered the hotel. I spoke a few words to him even. He didn’t follow me into the hotel, he told me that he had just arrived there a few hours ago. He didn’t know we were even there so there’s no way he could’ve done it.
That’s all I’ve figured out as of now. I don’t know what leads the police have, but I think I have the advantage.
