You In The Summer

It's been so long since I've written anything new! I have been so busy with Summer vacation and I really need to get my crud together! Anyways here's chapter 21! Please enjoy and forgive me if there are spelling or grammar errors! Don't forget to vote and comment! <3

Taeyong's POV

We all sit around the table chatting and eating pizza.

"Here's your funnel cake sir!" The waiter boy says, his name tag reads Jaemin.

"Thank you, Jaemin ah!" I exclaim. He smiles and walks off.

"Oh so you know his name?" Daehyun crosses his arms and raises an eyebrow. I roll my eyes and ignore him.

He sits across the table from me, next to Jennie and Mark.

"Daehyun, I like your outfit," I try being kind but it has the opposite effect I thought it would have.

He turns to look at me in an uninterested way. And goes back to his conversation with Jennie. Jennie seems to catch on and starts laughing at me.

"Show him who Taeyong is," Jaehyun slaps my back as he goes off somewhere else with Seulgi.

"Do any of you want some of my funnel cake?" I offer.

"No than-" he's interrupted by Mark's arm reaching to get some funnel cake.

Daehyun glares at him. Jennie gets some as well.

"Daehyun I thought you loved funnel cake?" Jennie said.

"I hate it! Jennie why are you accepting food from that snake!? Get rid of it!" He grabs the plate but she already has a grip on it.

"Delete the pic you took of me and Mark and I'll throw it away!" Jennie yells.

"Why? Cause it proves that you two have feel-" he's cut off by Jennie.

"If you say that one more time, I'll tell Taeyong about-" Daehyun jumps and covers her mouth.

My eyes shift to Jennie's victorious smirk.

"Ok ok, I'm sorry!" He pleads. He looks uncomfortable.

I was gonna ask Jennie what she was talking about but I decide on a better plan.

I get up and slowly walk over to an embarrassed Daehyun. If I was gonna hear it from someone it had to be him. I know the perfect way to get it out of him.

"Get up," I order making sure that I'm assertive.

"W-what?" He starts to get flustered.

"I said get up right now,"

I grab his hand and make him stand. Then I intertwine our fingers.

Our friends start oooing us.

"Where are we going?" Daehyun asks.

I put my finger to his mouth and run to the roller coaster line. The line is very short so we manage to get on quickly.

We sit in silence, while we slowly go up. The trees start vanishing and soon the sky takes up the majority of the view.

"I thought you didn't want to go on this roller coaster? What made you change your mind?" Daehyun looks away.

"You did, I was thinking about how you yelled at me earlier today and,"

"I'm sorry about that, I didn't mean to hurt or pressure you," he cuts me off.

"Take your time, I know it's not easy coming out, especially when you're in a tough position, please forgive me Taeyong,"

"Hey, it's fine, I realized that if I'm gonna come out, I might as well have a partner while doing it, but for now I just wanna spend time with you," I hold his hand.

"Cool, I'm cool with that, let's have fun for the rest of today!" He jumps up and down as we near the fall.

I squeeze his hand. His hands go to my face and turn it to the side where I look right at him. He's laughing at the fear in my eyes.

"So what was Jennie gonna tell me?" That makes his laugh turn into an awkward smile.

"Mind your business babe," he taps my nose.

"Daehyun! Yah! Tell me! I'm curious," I use my aegyo voice.

"You know aegyo doesn't suit you," he say rolls his eyes.

I start fake crying and he starts hitting me.

"Yah! Taeyong you're acting like a baby,"

Daehyun smirks all of a sudden.

Daehyun's POV

"Taeyong is there anything on my face?" I pose, trying to look as attractive as possible. He starts getting flustered and that's when we plummet down.

"Ahhh, please help! Someone!" He screams whike I shout joyfully.

Adrenaline runs through my body. We go up and down and upside down. Taeyong screams until the roller coaster isn't moving anymore, his head is buried in my chest.

"Awwww, what a cute, smol, bean!" I do in my aegyo voice.

"Yah!" He frowns.

"Looks like you fell for me, the moment you saw me, you ended up like spilt ice cream," I laugh at him. He laughs a little.

"Get it? Cause right after you saw me we went down the roller coaster?" I start dying of laughter.

"Those two look like they had fun," I can hear Mark say.

I tell all of our friends about it and we all end up laughing.

The rest of the day we spent together. Swimming, riding, eating, laughing, were among the things we did.

At the end we were satisfied with how the summer day ended.

"What's your favorite color?" Taeyong asked while we were seated on the bus on the way back.

I saw as we slowly left the water and theme park, the sun was beginning to set. It's rays shined on us making our skin a golden color.

"You in the Summer," I replied as I laid my head on his chest, drifting to sleep.
