Alias' POV

"Okay, this is officially crazy! Are we supposed to believe we're royalty in a whole different realm?! We don't even have an ounce of magic running through our blood! We're just normal kids! Get that through your head!" I yelled out in both anger and confusion. I didn't want to believe the fact that our mother had lies to us about our whole past. About who she was. That's when Morael sighed.

Morael's POV

So, she never told her earth family about us... I mean, after everything that had happened, she probably tried to forget and start anew... I took a deep breath, about to speak to the children, then Aruziel piped into the conversation.

Lilac's POV

Morael looked as though he was going to say something, but then Azuriel cut him off.

"I'm sure you both have many questions, right?" she stated more than asked. We both nodded vigorously and she giggled a little.

"Well looks like it's time for a story..." she said sitting down on one of the beds, motioning for us to sit across from her.

Alias and I sit down and patiently wait for her to start the story.

Azuriel took a deep breath, then started.

"For thousands of years, our realm, the Angelic Realm, had lived at peace with the realm of the demons, otherwise known as the Realm of Inferno. The Realm of Inferno works a little differently to our realm when it comes to leadership. For them, the strongest one there becomes the leader by challenging the one who currently leads. For a long time, their leader, Varkad, was not only the strongest but one of the most reasonable demons. He signed a treaty officiating a bond between the gods and the demons that lasted until the end of time. However, one demon despised us gods above all else. He trained day and night, never stopping nor tiring. He made it his life's goal to get established as the leader of the demons. And you know what? He did. He beat Varkad like he was nothing. As soon as he was established as leader, he proclaimed war upon the gods. The battle went on for years. They tormented our people. They rampaged through our sacred grounds. What that one demon did was unforgivable. He went by the name Dolvak. It is forbidden, now to speak it upon sacred ground. In the war, many gods and goddesses died valiantly to save our home. As we were getting to a disadvantage, your mother, and our queen, did the one thing she could to save us. Your mother performed a spell that would force the demons to be banished back to their realm for eternity. However, this spell came with a price. In turn for banishing the demons back to their wretched realm, she had to give up her life as a goddess. Her powers were stripped away from her and she became human for the rest of her life. We all watched down on her from the heavens, watched you girls grow up, and watched her find her own happiness as a human. When we went to watch her again, she was being attacked by one of Dolvak's minions, or, in other cases, a demon. We automatically took action, doing everything in our power to try and stop the attack. Kristiel, the goddess of sound, sent a faint transmission to you and your sister's minds, hoping you'd receive them and sense the alarm. But, by the time I finished the spell to get to earthland, the damage had been done. Only you two remained intact. However, I must say, that was an incredible feat you girls performed! Blasting the demon with a perfect, and extremely powerful unison raid! And you're sure you've never used magic before, girls?"

(For those of you who were too lazy to read the whole story - not insulting, i would probably do the same thing - here's a summary...

- The girls' mom was the queen of the Angelic Realm

- They had a deal with the demons' realm, or the Realm of Inferno

- The demons have a crazy strength competition for who's their leader

- A demon who hated the gods became the leader, Dolvak

- He declared war on the gods

- The gods were losing

- Lilac and Alias' mother, the queen performed a spell that banished the demons back to their realm, but also took away her life as a god

We didn't even respond. We were still trying to absorb what she just said. Not only did our mom lie about where she came from, but she was a goddess? And at that, the queen of a whole different realm?

We took a minute to try to get it to make sense, but everytime w went to talk, no words came out.

Finally, Alias said something.

Alias' POV

"So, technically, we're your princesses and future rulers?" I asked, still kinda shocked from the whole your-mom's-a-goddess-and-queen ordeal.

"Yes, that is correct," said Morael.

There were so many questions, but I decided to go with the most important one to me.

"Can Lilac and I use magic like our mom did?"

Morael and Azuriel chuckled. Then Morael bent down to get to me and Lilac's height level.

"Girls, you two contain the same magic as your mother. Do you know what that means?" he asked, smiling. We shook our heads vigorously, eager to get a response.

He smirked. "It means, not only can you use all of the god magic, but you can use god slaying magic, demon slaying magic, dragon slaying magic, elemental magic, dark magic, lost magic and a magic unknown to man." He paused. "Wizard slaying magic."

We stood dumbfounded. Just a couple minutes ago, we thought there was no trace of magic in our blood. Now we discover we can use almost all the magic known to man and more?! Lilac and I looked towards each other. We both started to smile.

"How do we learn to use them?" Lilac asked, a smile beaming off her face.

Azuriel and Morael suddenly frown. "That brings us to the rules of the kingdom," Azuriel said frowning. "You girls have been brought here at such a young age, and children in the kingdom are not allowed to travel to earthland until they turn 21..."

Lilac and I suddenly feel like crying. Not going back home until we turn 21 is harsh... Then Morael piped in.

"Well, girls think of it this way!" he said with a smile. "You now have plenty of time to master your skills as goddesses! We have been living peacefully without a ruler for a long time now, so you girls don't have to stay in the kingdom as often as your mother did! Also, because you are half human, you can stay on earthland for years at a time!"

Lilac let up a weak smile, but I just beamed at the remark! By the time we get back, we can go head on head with one of the most powerful wizards ever!! was the only thing I was thinking about.

Azuriel and Morael smiled at us. I looked over to Lilac and we gave each other a small nod. 

"We accept!!!! Now... Let's get training!!!" we yelled, our smiles beaming up at the adults.
