Lilac's POV

It's been 17 years since Alias and I came to the Angelic Realm. Ever since that day, we trained and trained and trained. We built up both our physical hand to hand combat skills and learned to fight with range and melee weapons. But, most of all, we improved out magic skills.

We trained with every god, every goddess, every dragon and every elemental. We learned every magic thrown at us to perfection. But now, as our magic training is completed and we are turning 21, it is time to go home. Back to earthland.

I woke up that morning to the sound of falling trees. "Alias..." I groaned.

I walked out to the balcony to see Alias practicing with Morael. Morael had become like a father to us, so we often messed around with him. They were having a challenge to see who could destroy more forest in one blow.

In one shot, Morael blew a hole in half of the trees letting them topple over. New trees immediately began to regrow.

After they were fully recovered, Alias simply nodded and backed up a little. Her red hair now had blue streaks in it and her green eyes now contained hints of blue as well. She had a tattoo going up the side of her face and always wore clothing so she looked like a boy. I don't know why though. I mean she is pretty and wears clothes like a boy... weird.

Anyways, she used levitation to get almost above the forest. Alias extended her arm, her palm facing the forest. She then muttered some words and a giant beam of light shot from her hand, destroying the forest in one clean swipe. She gently floated back down, not even looking phased as Morael just stood there in shock. I just giggled.

Yup, that's Alias for ya I thought to myself. I went back to my room and got ready. Now me? I'm in love with the bright colors and spikes! I think it looks completely normal, but Alias often teases me about how I look like a punk. I tend to ignore her every time though! I like my outfits, so I'll keep them!

I ran down the stairs to the kitchen. There sat Morael and Alias, digging in on a breakfast buffet. Morael saw me coming down. "Ah, sleeping beauty finally decided to come down!" he teased. I just smiled and rolled my eyes. Sitting down, we all started to eat. It was silent for a while, but then Alias said something.

"Hey Morael," she asked. He looked over. "Yeah?" "How are Lilac and I gonna get back to earthland?" Morael just laughed really hard. Alias and I simply looked confused. "Why are you laughing?" I asked. "Well, it's just because it's so obvious!" he said through chuckles. We were still confused. He finally stopped laughing. "You fly of course!"  Alias and I looked shocked. "But our levitation doesn't reach all the way down to earthland! We'll fall!" I exclaimed.

Morael smiled. "That is why you girls have wings!" He then chanted a few words.

"Wings of angels. We ask that you reveal yourselves to the user so that they may take flight upon the sky."

Almost immediately, a pair of beautiful wings appeared upon my back. I looked over to Alias who had the same thing happen. "Go ahead, give them a try!" Morael said. I nodded and attempted to move my wings, but nothing happened. "Alright," said Morael seeing me and Alias struggle. "Now, close your eyes. Imagine yourself soaring through the air with your wings, just like a bird would. Now imagine the wings swiftly cutting through the air as you climb higher and higher..." Before we knew it, we opened our eyes to see we were now off the ground and in the air. I looked over to Alias, smiling widely. Smiling back, she yelled. "Race ya around the forest!" She took off at full speed towards the forest. "Hey no fair!!!" I yelled back, trying to catch up.

Today is our last day in the Angelic Realm. Better make it count.

Timeskip

As we prepared to leave, Azuriel came up to us and handed us bracelets. Looking down at them, we were confused. "These bracelets are called limiters," she said, seeing the confusion on our faces. " They will help you contain your magic power when you get down to earthland." We nodded and walked away.

It is now time to say goodbye to our family and friends. Every person we trained with came to bid us goodbye. With tears of joy and warm smiles, Alias and I chanted the spell Morael taught us. "Remember girls." We heard Morael say behind us. "Come back anytime to visit!" he said through sobs. We nodded and smiled back.

With that, we started to descend to earthland. We soared above the towns as people stared up at us in astonishment. Our wings spread far, leaving a shadow as we soared through the sky. The faces of the children made me smile as they beamed up at Lilac and me. We flew until we came to the town where we lived closet to as children. The only town we had ever been to as children. We landed in the town square and our wings disappeared. We stood there confidently as a group of people gathered around. That's right.

The Tremegata girls are home, Magnolia.
